Keep in mind that the UN drugs stats are, typically, from a prohibitonists point of view, and, as such, are often pure bullshit.
A better site, re drugs research, might be the following:

Although CEDRO is now, largely, defunct their research is still prety good.
Note some of papers which discredit the UN research methodologies and/ or UN biases.
