My name is jacoby davani, from atlanta, georgia, U.S.. I'm flying into Holland in July(tentatively the 7th to the 20th) to enjoy europe for a few weeks. I'm already meeting up with a friend of mine who will be coming over from a U.K. wedding, but I'd love to meet up with anyone from here while over there and make new friends. We plan to travel around Europe but definately spend atleast a weeks time in the dam.
Does anyone know about the local/underground music scenes??? I'm trying to book some shows while over there... I play and perform experimental music and arts over here.. often simultaneously incorporating video projections, painting, occasionally fire and violence on top of the dynamic sounds i'd only be able to generalize as "surrealism" . you can check out my main project at: http://www.myspace.com/khovicoobah
i'm currently setting up a few shows in Italy , and hopefully in switzerland. It's been difficult finding contacts and responses let alone like-minded individuals from scratch though. I'm very flexible, willing to play ANYWHERE!! the sound for this tour will be softer and more mellow, so if you know of any "music friendly" venues, bars, coffeeshops, houses, street corners, ANYWHERE.. please just let me know. really and i won't have alot of equipment, require payment, or anything! INFACT.. if it makes any difference, know that I'll take you out and pick up the tab at the coffeeshop in the very least!! In addition i'll have copies of all our self-released cds, dvds, posters,etc available for a few bucks/euros. It's all handmade and one of a kind as part of the selfless DIY ethics..
