Tervehdys!

Post by occam »

Great to be on the list! Even greater to be going to Amsterdam in a few days!!!

This is only my third trip, so I'm a true beginner. In more than one sense, actually. I've tried smoking & vaporizers but am ashamed to admit, I just can't do it... ('')

So have to do some serious eating instead! A ganja gourmand in the making, I hope.

Sunshine!

welcome to the forum

i realise you have been to amsterdam before and may be aware of the dangers of amsterdam traffic, but i just want to double-check that you are aware of the document entitled How not to get hit by a bike

if you have already read this document, that's great, if not, then please please find some time to read it for your safety, thanks

have a great trip, you won't be a beginner for very long ...

I'll be in town from July 9 to July 15.

Thanks for the article on bikes, a very good and useful one!

I'll be doing lots of biking myself, as my friend is meeting me in Dam and he has some bikes on his sailing boat.

And that's right, no smoking for me - am done trying to inhale the stuff. But I'll be looking for the Ultimate Space Cake (and some butter-cooking on board as well).

If any of you can recommend where I can find the purest sativa hash, I'll be happyhappy!

Welcome!

Don't be ashamed about not being able to smoke. A lot of people have issues with it... and smoking ANYthing isn't all that comfortable. Just be careful with the amount you ingest as it does have different effects and durations.

Have fun and be safe! :D

well, you will get the no-smoking health benefit, so congrats on that

as mentioned above be careful with the space cake things because their strength and duration will vary widely

if you are only eating the thc, then you might consider this trick -

1. find a good moroccan hashish of the powdery, not oily, type.
2. break up all of the hashish to a fine powder.
3. mix the hashish into a small amount of full-fat yoghurt.
4. stir every 10 minutes or so over the next 30-60 minutes.
5. then enjoy.

(note: you can experiment with the time and the amount of hashish)

it will take a little while to take effect ...

for me the mixture gives the day a nice warm glow, perhaps it will work for you

Thanks, StonedSince67! Are you sure no heating is needed? On my first try I just chewed some raw weed and waited for the effect. And waited. Chewed some more. And waited... Am still waiting

Made my way through 5 grams of top notch stuff not realizing I could munch myself through all the grass in Holland and still stay sober.

the stuff in the weed that you want is soluble in fat, a full-fat yoghurt should work given time

the stuff in the weed that you want is also released by heat as in a vaporiser

when cannabis butter is made, both heat and butter fat are involved, that's why it works so well when made into space cakes and hash brownies

just eating weed involves no fat and no heat, so no stone

there is information in the Cannabis foods article in wikipedia
