Any hockey fans out there???
Any fans of hockey out there? I watch a lot of puck and I used to play so I know a lot about the game and if anyone who doesn't follow hockey wants to get into watching I would definitely give you some tips on understanding the rules and making it a better viewing experience as many people who watch hockey for the first time tend to not be able to see the puck so its also better if you have HDTV.

Besides how many teams can say they won the cup with some of the crappiest ownership in the history of sports.

I got such a hate on for the Bettman and the Maple Laughs right now I can't even begin to get over it. Hamilton deserved a team and if it wasn't for cockman vetoing the idea we'd have a team our market can support it.
This whole sordid affair has changed my leaf allegiance.
Other than that I waffling on going back to my childhood fav the habs or The bruins.

I Love to watch Ice Hockey when its on the Box, only as a neutral though, I dont follow any teams.
Love it when a fight breaks out, all sports should allow a good punch up and sin-bin senario!
Take Footie for instance, Just imagine if yer tricky winger took the piss by diving one to many times, and that hard as nails Center Half just decided, "Right ya wee prick, im gonna break your snout"
The game would benifit in the long run.
I used to go and watch the Racers at Murryfield back in the day.........they were shit!
Thier called the Capitals now.

RE fighting: THe difference between footy and hockey is that in hockey the players fight each other, whereas in football, the fans fight each other.I Love to watch Ice Hockey when its on the Box, only as a neutral though, I dont follow any teams.

Hockey fights are usually the result of one player retaliating for a dirty hit and/or for trash talk. In some cases, it is for intimidation, but since all players have some goons, I am not really sure this has any effect.
I don't mind a good fight if it is due to retaliation.

I remember the Probert and Domi fights in Madison square gardens. The fights were more looked forward to than the game.
Went to tons of games at ML gardens as a teenager, now that arena had soul, the new ACC has no soul, no ghosts, no attraction for me.
Any slap shot fans here? I think you have to watch the movie before you get citizenship.
