As did I, one of the greatest venues in sports history.
Did you ever see a hockey game in Fenway Park???

I just love the Winter Classic games.

Any slap shot fans here?
A classic, for sure! (Even if the 1970's outfits, hair, and so on, are a bit dated. )

Its funny you mention that because they just announced that the Winter Classic is going to be at Fenway Park next New Years Day and that they will be playing either the Capitals or Flyers. As sooon as I get back from the Dam and Re-up on my money I am definitely getting tickets no matter how much they cost.

winter classic games are fun but when your team doesnt win, it aint so fun. As I found out this last season when the Blackhawks lost (thanks to our french bastard{no offense to any french people, i just hate one french person inparticular} CRITOBAL HUET) to Detriot. I mean who wants to freeze thier ass off while being hungover and lose. So if u havent figured it out yet I am a HUGE fan of the Chicago Blackhawks

Although i am English and dont get to watch it on tv as much as i would like, i am still a huge fan of the Calgary Flames :) have been for about 15 years now as at the time i liked the logo and my favourite wrestler was from Calgary haha.

But i still wear my black Flames shirt with pride!

When I first got into ice hockey (or more specific the NHL) around 1994 they were one of the worse teams in the league i seem to remember...but i still remember playing with guys like Theo Fluery, Gary Roberts, Al MacInnis and Mike Vernon on the NHL game for the mega drive :)

Nice to see them recently getting their act together and almost coming close to glory a few years back. Got to love Iginla now too.

Have there been any number 99's since he retired? Closest i got was seeing the displays at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto where he has one to himself. Although i did feel bad buying a Calgary top, flag, poster and puck in Toronto!
