I beleive the restaurant is no longer owned by Rookies. There is still a restaurant there but they are not smoker friendly.

It is a shame as the outside seating to the back of the place was a nice spot for a beer and a smoke when it was part of Rookies.

Rookies holds a small piece of my heart, being the first coffeeshop experience I had in Amsterdam. They used to have an apartment across the road too, Semi memorable times were had when we stayed there for the week, thanks to the naughty mushroom man next to Rookies. Half a box each would have been cool... not like he said "split 5 boxes between the 4 of you lads"

I ended up running naked past Rookies thinking I was on fire.. So I was told.

Also thought I had blown part of Amsterdam up and was going to give myself up to the police, on the way to the police station I saw loads of red laser dots on me and thought I was going to get taken down by the Dutch version of SWAT for terrorism.

Thought I had missed the plane by a week, didnt realise it was still part of my trip... Freaky but fun times.. :D
