Coming from 4th to 12th august - With meeting

Post by miguel »

Hi guys,

finally it's arrive!!!! It's the 7th time that I and my girl come to the paradise.....

This time we find a good offer at Park Plaza Vondelpark with a double SMOKING room, very nice in these times to find a smoker room in a decent hotel.

Anyone to smoke some big joint or some bongs?
Any "must take"? like: chocolope, cheese, g-13, l.a. con, amnesia, eq. haze, ecc...

Coffee be ready for a big smoker

We're arriving the day AFTER you leave :( Sorry, bud.

As far as "must smokes" go there are just too many to list. Read the recent travel reports in the "Travelouges" section. TwoCanucks has a ridiculously good report that was just recently concluded. Give that a read and you'll find out all you need to know regarding what strains are hot right now.

Ok I see that there are many of us in this period in Ams.

If anybody want we can meet for smoking some joints.

My idea is to meet us at 420 of 06th august in cs The Dolphin (the interior is very nice, smoker room and a lot of Verdamper)
I know that this coffee is unusual for a meet but I very like it, not all smoke without tobacco and the white dolphin for me is one of the best White in Ams.

If someone hasanother idea: another day, CS, ecc... tell me and tell me if you want to come.

Hooping to see a lot of you.

I am in town 6th-11th.

As far as other cities go Haarlem is the closest and has probably the most coffeeshops. Some nice shops here and cheaper than Dam. It really is like a mini quieter Amsterdam.

I lived in Wijk Ann Zee for 3 months which is 5 minutes from Beverwijk. The town has 3 coffeeshops (there is a 4th but this is well out the centre and i never managed to find it in 3 months!) Splif is a nice coffeeshop with an outdoor seating area with fountains which would be awesome to chill in in the summer. The weed from here was always good but not great. I think the hash is more there speciality.
Coffeeshop Life is round the corner and has a decent menu with some ok strains on. They do a big bag special 4g for 25e. It is advertised as 5g but when we asked the budtender at Taffne's to weight it we could see it was clearly 4g. Still a fairly good deal but I would prefer the were honest!
Taffne's is in my opinion the best in Beverwijk. A menu ranging from 6.50e for Red hair or Silver Skunk up to 13-14e fro mako haze. While I was out there this shop had some of the best cheese i've ever had for 11e/g asnd some very nice amnesia for 12.50. They also do 5g of PP or Polm Special fro 30e
As a town Beverwijk is nothing special to look at, but has the advantage of being able to hop on the bus for 5 mins and have a spliff on the beach at Wijk ann Zee.
Ijmuiden is also nearby but I never made it there, I think it has a couple of coffeeshops. I believe you can take a hydrofoil from here to Amsterdam which would be a nice change to the train.

Alkmaar is a nice town, has only 4 coffeeshops. I was told by some dutch friends that Anytime is the best there and it does indeed have a large menu of good strains but you will be paying Amsterdam prices. Not necessarily a bad thing if the quality is good but i have come to expect better prices outside of the capital. Alkmaar also has its own RLD mainly undercover which is worth a wander, and prices are cheaper than Dam at 35e if you're into a punt.

I haven't been personally to the other cities on your list but I've heard good things about Den Haag and Utrecht.

Hope this helps!

thanks for the info ,
if you arrive on 6th you come at Dolphins? is earlier than your arrive?

My schedule would be:
On friday go to Alkmaar (the cheese market) and in the afteroon Zaandam and Zanse Schans
A day in Haarlem (of course) with a visit to Yanks in Zandvoort
A day in Utrecht ( I very like this city)
A day near Ijmuiden, Beverwijk and Wijk Ann Zee

Now I have to decide what kind of tranport I'll use....
For Ijmuiden I'll go with boat and bike
For Haarlem with train and bike
For Utrecht with train .... but I want to visit the Kastel de Haar and It's far from the center, So i'm Thinking to rent a car or a scooter.
For Alkmaar and Zaandam is the same thing, many place to visit, so I'm thinking to rent a car or a scooter.

Any suggestion?
