Traveling from airport to city

Hello everybody, I'm off to Amsterdam in the coming weeks and needed to know the most cost efficient way of getting from the airport to the city and so forth. Ive heard of the train/tram/rail going every 10 minutes from the airport to the city, but how do I find out what stop is closets to my hotel? thanks.

also if anyone can tell me the approximate distance from the bilderburg garden hotel, to the square?

If your staying at the Bilderburg you can afford a cab!

Take the train to central station and take a cab or get off at Amsterdam Zuid and walk, your not to far from there... Enjoy your stay.

15/20 min walk to Dam square

You'd be better off getting the train to Station Amsterdam Zuid, www.ns.nl has all the timetables on and that, another option would be using the http://www.schipholhotelshuttle.nl/site/toonhotel.asp this will drop you off at your hotel.
