The Cheapest Airfare From USA to AMS?
The Cheapest Airfare From USA to AMS?
In the process of planning my second trip for April 2010.
This past April I payed $950 for my round trip, nonstop flight tickets and the lowest I've found so far for next April is $725. I'm using mobissimo.com like last time.
Anyone know of any other good sites with the lowest rates? Flying outta Ny and looking for cheapest flight possible, as long as it's nonstop.
Thanks guys!

Looks like a couple hour layover in Lucern, I think that's their hub.
I didn't dig that deep
Not too crazy about a layover but that price is ridiculously low and way too hard to pass up. Looking to stay from the 17th-23rd so this may be perfect.
I'll look into it in depth when I get back from work but you, FBN, just made my day!
Thanks guys!!!

Yapta.com is a good site as well. They also track ticket prices for ya and send you email alerts when the price of the tickets change. I used this on my last two trips to Amsterdam.
FYI I am looking at ticket prices as well and it might be cheaper to get a flight into Hanover, Germany and then ride the train into Amsterdam. Kinda sucks but it is a cheaper route to go. So if you are looking to spend the least on transportation to Amsterdam you might want to check out surrounding cities and see what it is to fly there and ride the train in.

One Love!
Also Dusseldorf is another alternate airport to fly into and is a 2hr train ride to Amsterdam.Saynt wrote: FYI I am looking at ticket prices as well and it might be cheaper to get a flight into Hanover, Germany and then ride the train into Amsterdam.

I fly out of Houston to Amsterdam 6 or 7 times a year and have found the cheapest is to book directly with the airline. My next trip is in Sept. and I booked at Continental.com for $471 round trip(nonstop) and for every five paid trips I get one trip free, 10,000 mile trip 50,000 paid miles = one free trip.
I book my room on line at the Hotel web site(Private room w/ shower & wc) 55 or 60 euros depending on which Hotel.
