You think I should book it?

Post by Jointman69 »

I usually check plane fares on Mondays. Seems to be lowest M and T evenings.

I have yet to go to the Dam and am wondering the average air fare everyone from the US is paying?

The best I have found for the time I want to go (Jan.) is a nonstop out of Washington DC for 520$ pp. That is by far the cheapest fare I have found, so is that a good deal?

I kind of like Kayak

http://www.kayak.com/

They send me a daily fare forecast.

Enjoy

What time of year are you planning on going? I've been looking at airfares for Feb 2010 fron many different deprture points, because my job relocates me every 3 to 6 months. I always check from Florida, AZ, Cali, TX, BOS and DC. I've noticed the fare from IAD at 520. That is the lowest I have seen it. The previous lowest was 600 that i saw. IMO for a nonstop flight you won't find it much lower that 520. I'd book it in a minute. My problem is I won't know from where I'll be flying out for my Feb trip until about Dec. I hope it is from the DC area as they have the lowest fares I've found to AMS. BOOK IT!
