Doog, wait until the Bookings dates open up, then take a look. I stayed at Rookies and it was worth every penny. Doesn't hurt to have a coffeeshop and bar downstairs. Plus Rokerij's is one block over and it's also a very nice place with some very nice smoke and sells beer. Just a thought. AzLaker 8)

4:20 2007 has been firmly penciled into my diary... Doog, it would be so nice to see you there... I'm very much looking forward to it already as meeting other ACD'ers will be great too.

However, I WILL be going much much sooner than 4/20/07 as I have a little objective in mind... 8)

I wont book anything until I have some definate link-up's arranged.

Hmm, sounds intriguing Rez, Would the objective be something to do with The Book.

The link ups would be a good idea after reading so much about all the various link ups that took place during the 4/20 celebrations. Unlikely that so many members would be in town at the same time as yourself but I'm sure there will be someone along the way.

FlyByNite's site makes finding hook-ups 10000 times easier. ATM it is Channels user heavy, but more and more ACDers are asking him to list their trips as well (not to mention there are a few users who are on both boards). Shrug. Just another tool to make setting up your trip easier.

Who's in Town?

Lemming: Perhaps you can make a sticky about this site in Travel Plans section so people can more easily register their trips or check who is in town (also would be nice for new users)?

Excellent stuff Doog!

Maybe the twat who registered on here under Doogisatool is that junkie who harrassed you in Amsterdam?!

Next time you are in the Dam try posting some stuff back in a greetings card to your home address, just use a pseudo name, it works for me!

You know Como, I was always thinking that. Bit of a coincidence that he would know about the forum but it certainly isn't impossible.

Sending stuff back home is probably the best way not to get caught personally and it is certainly something that will float around in the back of my mind when the next trip comes along and I'm running out of days before I have to go home again.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

still not something i want to risk when i next go though personally, one extra smoke aint worth the hassle of getting busted by the police

You dont 'get busted by the police' HM Customs & Excise send you a nice little letter stating how much you posted (in my case over 30 grammes in 2 dvd boxes) and that they have been seized due to being prohibited nothing more nothing less!

(I'll put a picture of my letters up for everyone to see in the near future)

Cheers Boner, those Customs guys sure have a sense of humour with the sending of the letter basically saying "better luck next time".

What starts in the Dam should really stay in the Dam and let's face it, airport security is only going to get tighter as time goes on.

Best just to leave your leftovers and be able to think back on a successful trip in the comfort of your own home.

Airport security is a joke I normally just carry my weed with me and have yet to be caught, this last time I posted some (some made it some didn't) some went in my suitcase (which made it) and the rest was on my person which made it (probaly close to 40 grammes in total) all this stops in the Dam is bollocks for people that dont have the balls to carry some through, I mean you aint going to jail for the rest of your life for bringing a bit of weed and hash into the UK from Holland hell I wouldn't be surprised if customs expect it.

From all i've heard the UK seems fairly lax over herb, bringing 40g into the states from Holland could theoritically put in in federal prison for the rest of your life. Which is another fine example why the USA is just plain restarded about this whole drug issue. Its just a plant people, if it 40g of explosives or uranium ok 20+ years in prison is feasible. Good luck to the brave ones, i would surely be trying it if i lived in the UK or any other sensible country.

I've always said I'd try to take some back to the US if I lived there, not 40 grammes mind maybe 1 or 2 grammes of something special like Jelly Hash, here in the UK it is pretty lax, you get a fine (£40 I believe) if you get caught with up to 10 grammes but its off to court if you try to bring more into the country!

I've just got one of those faces that any muppet could read like a book straight away. I can be as smooth as Roger Moore talking to security staff but I'm maintaining eye contact as I do so and the staff are looking at me and they can see the cracks beginning to appear (or is it sweat) and then the bag gets checked.

I have never smuggled anything in a suitcase (once I had a little bit stuffed into a trainer although this was before the days where they started asking you to remove your shoes. I guess people look at my dumb face and instantly think that "they've got a live one".

alongside the £40 fine, do you end up with a criminal record?
