One of things that I don't like about our prohibition laws is the lack of so called experts that have columns in a paper (sadly normally in lieu of columns in their pants but moving on) that list their 5 favourite / must trys whilst in a foreign city

So in that spirit, lets do it here. 'rules' are simple - post your 5 faves (brand / shop / cost per gram) and when you went..... feel free to include flowery language and other 'tasting notes'

I know this in someways a rehash of other information on this site, but the next time i go (hopefully this month) I'd really like a cheat sheet of the lay of the land... after all I'm new to this and whilst restricting my choice may mean I miss a superb batch of something, I really felt that whist the bud tenders were pleasent, polite and 'helpful', they picked up on my newness to all of this and did what any good sales person would do.......... and I don't like that.

Grey Area

Super Silver Haze - Dampkring's springs to mind. Noon as well.

G13 Haze from Barneys is quality smoke if you get a good batch. Really tasty, I can only describe it as noxious, but in a good way

for the other two, how about one really nice Morrocan like Riffman and a good black, say some good Nep?

Bas Specail Basjoe 12E/g a great smoke more high than stone
LSD Amnesia 14E/g? best high the whole trip beautiful buds
Silver Pearl Homegrown Fantasy 10E/g Great high and the taste was amazing
Blueberry Cheese Greenplace 13E/g? wonderful funky smell very cheesy

NYCD from Greenhouse (no more @Hunters), 10e/g, my favourite one if you get a good batch.
Black Bombay from Hunters, 6,50e/g, amazing hash
Chocolope from Hillstreet Blues, 13e/g, fucking good taste, good high
Red Libanon from Prix d'Ami, 6e/g, wonderful high
Utopia Haze from Amnesia, the only word that comes to my head is "WTF"

All this stuff isn't very expensive, and I guess you could find some gear that will get you pretty more high, but I'm not a big fan of all those Isolator stuff, and cheap hash doesn't mean bad hash ^^

Everybody seems to love the Cheese from HomeGrown Fantasy, I personnaly never tried it, but I think it will be on my to buy list for my next trip.

NYCD is back here at Hunters and it stinks to high heaven, in a positive way!

If you enjoyed the Bombay Black, then check out the Manali Sweet Cream while we still have it. A very good quality hash indeed. Afghan should be back in stock next week also.

must say if hunters has nyc diesel Get IT i fell in love with this in october last year, and in all my years of amsterdam trips i rate it third best smoke ive had. lovely sour lemony smell slight vomit smell(dont let that put you off), leaves such a nice aftertaste for ages and the high is hard hitting and strong leaves you lost in seconds.
