kcjnz trip 6/10-11 & 6/17-18

Post by kcjnz »

Hit ground around 8:40 this morning. First stop ended up being Kadinsky, where I got 1g of NY Diesel for 8e? or abouts, very grapefruity, came on kinda late, fun early buzz. The place was nice and clean, nice girl behind the counter, very clean restroom (always a plus) it was kinda early so only a cpl people in there. Next was Greenhouse Effect for 1g of Jack Herer and a 1.4g for 10e of Greenhhouse Special, the budtender there was nice, they had some Hawaiian Amythest that I plan on coming back to check out. Jack was nice and up and the G-house special came in w/ a real stoney afterbuzz. Later on as a impulse was 1g of Bubble Gum from Freezone, good tasty buzz and they had AC, the 'dam is really warm today and this was a nice place to chill at one of the few seats they had next to the windows. Heading to Nes in a few, DC here I come heh. Give y'all more scoop latenight... free wifi from yer low budget hotel rocks!!

peace

grabbed a g of Isolator Tbilisi and a g of Cherry Bomb and proceded to get really baked, I sat and pulled nice thick hits off a water pipe i DIDNT get charged a deposit for (the only place so far not to do, thanks folks :D ), then off wondering the red light district until grabbing 2 hash truffles from Hill St Blues and some snacks for later. I'm gonna sit back and pack a smorgashbowl and get some sleep. Another fun filled day awaits.

day 2

Post by kcjnz »

Up early after going to bed around 3am, wife heading out on a bus trip. She isn't really smoking much so she is off to see windmills and such. Which gives me 1/2 a day to myself. 10:30 now, wife just headed out, it's a bowl of yesterday's NY Diesel with a generous helping of Isolator Tblisi on top to start the day right. It's Grey Area at 12 when it opens, if Coffeeshop36 is open, I'm heading there now to sit by the window for a bit.

someone asked about the hotel for wireless..they dont have it, but I'm finding one nearby just fine. I'm
at the Utopia.

day 2 continued

Post by kcjnz »

the rest of these notes were sadly written after I got back..

Well, I made it to The Grey Area right around 12, spoke to the fellow opening up and grabbed 1g of Martian Mean Green and 1g of Grey Mist crystals, sat down at a nice seat by the window and proceded to load up a nice roor that they had with a hefty shot of mean green to start. Ok, nice strong potent taste, slightly medicinal, let it linger and waited to see what it would do. It seemed kind of creeper, so I packed up another with a nice pinch o' crystals on top, I could feel the 1st hit lurking as I took the 2nd, and thats when it got me. I hit the roor hard and it hit back, that hit expanded to twice its size and knocked me for a loop, I am a veteran of the bong smoking wars and as Chong would say "kinda grabs ya by the booboo don't it?"

I proceeded to let the effects of that one simmer down and kept entertained by loaning my lighter to a bloke that rolled a big one w/ way too many crystals and it kept going out. I chilled for about an hour and then headed out to figure out the next stop. Strolled up and down the niewandijk(sp) and back over to the RLD and the areas behind it, just checking stuff out. Made my way back and ended up at Baba, right at the 1st intersection coming off the Dam, it's a nice vantage point and I grabbed a seat at the window next to the door and grabbed 1g of silver haze, not bad but pretty run of the mill, ended up sharing a seat with Bernie, a guy from Philly who had been on the road for a couple of months and Ethan a fellow that Bernie had met in Poland and just ran across in the Baba after pulling a seat up. We proceded to swap bowls and stories, I hung out there until time to get the wife from her trip. She had a great time and it gave me some quality time as well. I'll fill in on the rest of the night later.

peace

Yeah nice start. How come you've got the two trips so close together? I mean that's a helluva lot of travelling both times just to stay two days?

You must really miss the place eh?

Yes there is but if we told you then it wouldn't be a secret anymore, even if you somehow did find it out then we'd have to kill you

Think it was one of the 4/20 crew who took the picture that had my entry on it. If there's one photo you should take then it should definitely be of your entry in the book when you sign it.

Sure you can take photos of the the hash and weed that you SMOKED (emphasise past tense) but your entry in the book is permanent (unless like me you wrote it in pencil which could fade or simply be erased).

Still, I'll always have the photo (and perhaps a second entry at next year's 4/20 shenanigans.)

the reason the 2 visits were so close together is after the 1st two days we rolled to Paris for 4 days and then back to the 'Dam for two more days since we flew in to schipol. Only way to get my 4 days was to give the wife hers in Paris, heh. I will write more about the trip in a bit, and yes, if given the chance I would fly that once a week to be able to hang for even a day or so.
