I used to go in here every now and again but would never make a beeline for it when I got to Amsterdam. Not been now since about 2007 but I remember being a it disappointed with the gear. Looking back, the only thing I can remember buying was the California Orange Bud which was about €8 a gram. A forgettable smoke if not an altogether terrible one.

Took my mates in here when we went over for the weekend and they seemed to dig it because of the table football, and they were showing Premier League footy as well on the tv so they were made up. For me though, it is solely about the weed and hash on offer, and although I'd be willing to try this place one more time, I wouldn't rush back.

Don't remember the shop being particularly dirty, but I can see how someone would think that. It's a bit grimy and old looking. Definately could do with a snazzy refurb to keep this classic place fresh and in-style.

I loved MY, last August got 2 of my best purchases there.
The Super Silver Haze was the best haze of the entire trip without comparison.
The Jungle Nepal Hash was beyond the pale, one of the best hashes ive ever had.

The S5 Haze was good the one time I bought it and I wish I bought more because it wasn't as good looking the next time we stopped in. The second time I came in nothing was really looking that great a lot of small buds that didn't catch my eye so I tried the Honey Hash. The hash was good nice and soft but my favorite thing about this place was the smoking area with the games, was one of my favorite places we chilled at.

The weed has gotten worse. This old place got too big for its own boots.

Here's a nice piece of info, Mellow Yellow are shits!
He waited till we bought 50euro worth of SS Haze, bought 3 drinks and my mate Neil tipped.

Then to be asked for ID when we sat down after purchase.....to be told to leave and short changed for drinks.
Nice One Mellow Yellow, won't be back to your commercially grown sh...it hole.

I loved M.Y. got some great stuff there.
Only negative i would say, is it was really hot out and we could not open the upstairs window because the neighbors complain of the smell.
As for I.D., i thought it was Dutch law you had to carry it all times ?

If he had asked prior no problem.

Should have just told a local police offer he sold me this and didn't ID us and got them shut for a lil while.

The blueberry time prior was not good, people rave about their BB, but its overkill, name is bigger than its backbone now.

The upstairs area is shit personally, bright, not comfy, big boring blocky tables.
I used to like the buds here, Strawberry Haze from was one of the nastiest tasting buds I tried in Amsterdam, followed by The Doors Ak47. DISGUSTING!

Anyway... I should of had passport on me.
But the tender should of asked us for ID prior to purchasing bud.
Not when he realises we are sitting in the place.

Great stoned service by the look of it.

Here's my Tip: Walk straight past to OLD AMSTERDAM, WAY better buds here.

Visited here in early June --asked for Black Widow Haze but they were out of stock so opted for a gram of the Sleaze---nice smoke and taste --kind of like cheese but not as full on taste--anyway twas a nice mellow high and things were friendly and nice enough---we sat on the bench seat just at the top of the stairs overlooking the lower part of the shop and I couldnt help noticeing that everyone who came in seemed to know each other--obviously a regular clientelle-- nice place

At the moment, the Blueberry is good. S5 is consistently good and strong.
