Hi Everybody,

I will be in the Dam on the above dates as I'm going ro see LTJ Bukem at the Melkweg on Friday Night.

Me and the Wife are not big smokers as we like to do things in the day and only smoke in the evenings.

As a result my selection of weed for Friday night needs to be right first time, as I won't get the chance to try a few before the night.

Hoping for something giggly and slightly speedy which will keep us going all night.

Any suggestions ?

have a good read of the trip reports here. they are the best form of recent information. Also your best bet would be talking to the bud tender. Tell him you are not a seasoned smoker and what you want. They are there to help!

Probably innacurate to say we are not seasoned smokers as we are a couple of old gits who when at home have been known to partake of some stunningly strong skunk (allegedly G13 - lol!) so I think we can handle most things.

Last time we were in the Dam in Jan 2010 we went for some Super Lemon Haze from the Greenhouse which was mighty good and hit the spot immediately - not letting us go for a couple of hours.

But reading your forum Greenhouse haze seems to have had a bad press recently.

Problem is that I would kind of like to go straight to a really good one - and I don't really believe the sales hype at the coulnter and prefer an unbiased opinion.

At the moment I am considering calling in at Voyagers for some Ultra Bio Lemon Haze or maybe resorting to Grey Area for something simillar.

For my last three trips I have hit Greenhouse up as my first stop. I have been thoroughly disappointed with every purchase. I have vowed to never return (untill I hear something good on here!). If you want really well grown, powerful and CLEAN stuff I would recommend Hunters (formerly The Coin) - never had anything bad from here - or Grey Area. if you want all of the above mentioned at a fraction of the price you should head south towards the Albert Cuyp market and visit Club Media, Katsu and Papillion - all great places with great products. So long as you aren't hitting tourist traps (Bulldog/Barneys etc) the budtenders WILL tell you what is good (as this can change weekly)

p.s. I haven't been to Voyagers yet. I have heard very good things though. Will definitely be visiting at the end of the month. If you go please leave some feedback on here. Thanks

Going to vist Voyagers and take a peek - Then maybe Hunters and Grey Area.

Trouble is reading the forum my eye is drawn to Kali Mist - I am looking for a super strong but high energy smoke here.

Also wondering about Casey Jones. As ususal it all depends what's about.

Arrived in the Dam now.

Stuck with my plan and went to Voyagers where a nice freindly bud tender with dreadlocks and a brummie accent sold me some Ultra Bio Lemon Haze. Looks very nice and smells delightful. 10 Euro for 1g

Then tramped all the way to Club Media and chose some Lemon Skunk - 2 exceptionally nice looking buds at 10 Euro.

Going to get stuck into this lot tonight.

If I'm compos mentis and can master it with the Jesusphone 4 then I might even post some pics and a write up in the ongoing section tomorrow.
