Here are some International goal scorers with poor records only slightly ahead of Heskey.

Emile Heskey (England) 59 caps, 7 goals.

Rene Higuita (Colombia) 68 caps, 8 goals.

Jose Luis Chilavert (Paraguay) 74 caps, 8 goals.

Unfortunately for Emile, the other two are goalkeepers...

Let this be a lesson learnt to other clubs, if you want to play like animals, then accept the punishment that comes with it :D

IMO the fine isn't enough

Yeh i guess the ldn equivalent would be 2 born and bred, 'local lad' west ham and millwall players on the same team
dunno what a changing room had to do with it though

^^^not sure why i didnt spot your reply before  but yes m8 opening weeks fixtures, hearts gotta goodun aswell i see,

anyways, reason im posting is just wondering what our non english brits think of this GB olympics footy team thing that was announced yestrday,
imo this is complete bullshit, not the fact theyl be playing a GB team (dont have any interest in it either way), but that the olympic commitee & the english FA, have acted like mafia to push through their money spinning agendas,
since when does the english FA have the authority to negotiate for scottish, welsh & n ireland associations???
i thought them nations had said no way to the idea,
how would englands fa like it if france said wer getting together with italian & german fa to make a new europe super league &that if top english teams wanted to pull out of premier league they could because they have given the 'ok' & that the english fa have NO say in the matter
you could imagine what the sun would make of that
oh at least beckhams gonna have a chance to make some more sponsorship money

I think Mr Beckham will be in and around the team, being Beckham, you know, showing up, looking like a model, getting paid etc  .....TBH, I have no opinion on the team, untill I see the selections...if its 19 Ingerlish players, with a token Scot, Welsh and Ulsterman thrown in, then it will be a joke, and I will treat the team like it was an Ingerlish team, i.e, ignore tha fact they are playing untill they get humped

I agree though, Paulie, English F.A are like a Mafia...its no wonder Uefa and Fifa don't like you fellas
