I just thought I'd mention, that I really want to move to canada now. Would you believe that here in switzerland in major cities you'll pay $500 usd an ounce for top-quality, and 25-35/g on the street if you're buying small quantities

Growing a few plants for personal consumption is generally tolerated, but it's entirely up to each judge's discretion, what a "small number" is, and if they decide you are not growing just for personal consumption it gets serious fast.

It's killing me! I can't wait to get there (and I have so much really hard work to do in the next six weeks before I go, that it's going to make being in Amsterdam extra sweet.

Thanks for the invite! We're actually probably relocating next year, and there are a few jobs in Canada that we're looking at, although we really could end up anywhere. The same goes to you and your Mrs if you ever find yourself in Switzerland.

I'm hoping the bud is really really good. When we were there at the beginning of April everything was just amazing quality.
Because life is too short to smoke bad bud.

If they have the Super Silver G18 at Boerenjongens it will really fuck you up :D

Looks like a good list. I never make lists, but I perpetually admire list makers. Can't wait to hear all about it! I'm counting on your reporting to serve as an appetizer :D

I had been smoking and smoking and smoking, so you're probably right about the effect.

I was at Katsu t&t with my Mr and Ed (Blue..something) and we had just had black widow, then so gouda, then pineapple haze? from greenplace, then terminator with cheese from basjoe, then the afghani delight. The pineapple haze from greenplace and the anghani delight from Anyday were Ed's, I haven't actually been to either shop, although both are on my try soon list.) God I miss Amsterdam. Counting, counting, counting the minutes until my next trip, and yet the time is still not passing any faster....

Thanks for the headsup on the Betty Too, saved potential disappointment.

I've added the Afghani Delight, SSH and Turkish hash to my list, along with a couple others.

Cheers all, much appreciated!

Hey canuks,

I was in the Dam sunday july 31 and no more martian meen green at Borejongens no White Choco too. But they had really really good weed. Honey bee G13, Amnesia G13 and Casey Jones were both very strong. Bij is something like 30 seconds from the Borejongens and they also have really good weed. Unhopefully I was fuckin stoned and didn't take photo of the menus.

The staff was very nice and showed us any strains we asked to see, even if the queue behind us was big.

geeky id have to say that you are not finding the right people to buy your weed off...

i find oz from 280-350chf... also its important to note that this just recently seems expensive when converted into USD due to the plummeting value of the dollar... it used to be approx. 1 USD = 1.5 CHF.. now its closer to the opposite (1chf=1.28usd)... it is true that in Switz. bud is getting more expensive and less variety can be found, but i think if you find the people that grow and buy in bulk you can still find decent prices.. not to forget the fact that in relation to salaries weed is still dirt cheap compared to N. America... starting level salaries here are pretty close to 6 figures p. year if you have some kind of university diploma...
