I have only heard good things about K L, most of them on smokersguide.com with a lot of reviews about their stuff.

I've no idea if they have red leb on their menu but it looks a lot healthier these days than it did 2 years ago. The weed hasn't changed too much but they normally have another 6 more hashes. Nepal polm, Warm ears and personally I like the Dutch delight at 11 euro a gram.

Used to be a very cool hangout a couple of years back. Not been for a while as its quite a trip out but have heard it is now a Bar that serves Booze and the CS is opposite. My friend who recently traveled just keeps saying its not the same.
Will visit next trip to have a look.

The place is very good to chill out. The Buddha room is perfect to relax.

But bring your own weed.

Maybe try their hash called Polm Gold. But in this area my choices are definitely different.

so what effect has the smoking ban had on this shop. i was there in jan 08 and i purchased across the road, then chilled with a pint and a spliff listening to the dj. is this still possible?

My first ever visit here 3 weeks ago,as you can see on that menu ,they have about 16 Hashes...except ,they don't...I asked Kashmiri and was told they dont have any atm,so chose another one,Forget which,only to be told thaththey were out of this an all...This was beginning to get like the Monty Python cheese sketch

...so then he told me the other 5 or 6 that they didnt have

...I still dont know what i got,but a pleasant place to sit,decent sounds...and then over the road for a few beers and smokes...A neat spot,great both places to chill...will deffo be back

Kashmir Lounge has become my local now for the past 4 years. I love this c/s - my apartment is right next door and i love the fact they have a early 10am - open / late 3am closing times - makes picking up easy at any time( i hate it in the centre when your like damm its 1.30 am and everywhere's shut ans i only got a J left !). Great area, everything close by - the place has a great atmosphere and music with DJ's on most nights check out website on my avatar for info.

@darkglobe - Yes this is true - as Kashmir is such a local place i see them sell-out of good stock almost everytime i'm there... on one such time is saw the biggest tub of Lemon Haze get delivered and it was sold in about 2hrs - i got 5 grams had a J went back and they were sold out to just the crums!!! This happens with there good hashes aswel so if i see one i long for a always pick up 5g's minimum.

Very busy dealer in this place constant line of (not tourist) people which indicated its got good gear. This place has a seperate dealer c/s to buy gear from.

Cheap drinks ( half price on centre), lovely imported beers with frosted glasses is a must if your daring - they are strong tho!

10/10 from me so much so i arrive on tuesday next week (dec 09 16th) - but i do stay next door to this place every visit i like it quiet.

This is a really cool place. I like the set up with the dealers on one side and the Lounge on the other side.

We got some N-Y-L as recommended by the bud guy and a pre roll hash spliff. We took the piss out of the pre roll as it was like a toilet roll! But OK.

Went over to the lounge and got a Heineken each and went into their smokers room. Wow loved it. It was great in here apart from ONE little thing. It was FREEZING in here. It would be great in the summer, but not winter. They could of got those upturned heaters that you get in beer gardens, and it would have been perfect.

Smoke was good but we left as it was too cold. We didn't even finish out beer!

Absolutely far and away THE best shop in Amsterdam IMHO..

Great tunes provided by live djs
Indian themed bar and smoke area, entertaining staff, top drinks menu including beer etc
Get your smoke from the budtender in the shop across the road, I only bought cheese there but that was strong and tasty

Bit of a trek from centrum but honestly well worth it!

And heating worked perfect this week
