Definately, I didn't buy as it was a quick stop, but it is a fully-functional Abraxas now.

There's some nice photos of it on the abraxas site...

Whether you have a sweet tooth or you’re just familiar with the coffeeshop scene in Amsterdam, you might be reminiscing over a shop called Chocolata.
Located on Spuistraat 51 in a scenic and convenient spot, Chocolata fed the smoking masses of the ‘Dam tasty treats worthy of the shop’s name for years.

Unfortunately Chocolata closed its doors for good, hanging up their rolling papers and baking aprons, just after celebrating their 15th anniversary. Recently Abraxas added this old classic to its expanding family under the name Abraxas Too.

Currently we are in the process of transferring ownership and also major renovations within the shop, in order to continue the Abraxas tradition of hosting our smokers in beautiful surroundings. However, the local reliable service and atmosphere from Chocolata remains out of respect for a beloved institution of the Amsterdam Cannabis scene.

We are proud to continue in their footsteps!
So... does that mean they're doing the same line in edibles d'ya think?

Was in this shop 2-3 years ago, when it called Chokolate and was famous for its bonbond and cakes. Bought and eaten 2 bonbons felt really relaxed-high effect, the same effect after spacecake (2 peices).

BUT! Visited at 7th September now- Abraxas (hoping to buy the same bonbons), bought and eaten 2, than after a half hour 2 again and FELT NOTHING! it seemed i'd eaten an choko-bonbon from supermarket, no reach hash taste, as in former bonbons :(

My wife after 2 spacecakes felt nothing too

As for weed&hash- i think there are more better palces in A'dam to buy quality products and chilling...

Turned up here whilst it was being done out. It was a mess but they was still dealing. Got 5g of hash (cant remember the name) to bring home. It was very poor grade really and lasted ages coz i did not like smoking it.
Gutted Chocolata has gone and the corporate machine has taken over. :)

Cool coffeshop on Spuistraat. Didn't buy from here but stopped off a few times for a smoke and to surf the net.

Well spent the afternoon in here today and it was a pleasant time indeed, Elephant is very nice for the price, and the Hawaiian haze was very nice and fruity.
I have a menu pic to put up somewhere 8)

I went here a couple of times when it was still the Chocolata and really liked it. Always went for a hash hot chocolate to go with a joint, was lovely. Although a really tall dutch guy kept coming up the stairs and eyeballed myself and my friend for a few seconds then went back down again. He did this about half a dozen time while we were there, didn't help with the paranoia!

started the most pleasant trip of my life here last visit (volcano week), loved the awesome tile work and good vibes of the bud-tenders here.
