wanting a tour guide, is a bit piss taking as your both on holiday, but can still be arranged. are you planning to visit lots of coffeeshops? we have a friend gapie who lives in dam, had many a great time with pretty sure he will help you out

only one in town on that day so far, but awhile to go yet.so if you want a really good trip its worth introducing yourself on the site ah i see you have, but tbh its a pretty crud introduction. but anyway have a good read about the site, make a list of things you want to do (for me thats shit loads of coffeeshops)i could make you some maps. if you go to travel section click on acd 420 thread there are loads of trip reports for each year some are better than others,but there are untold toke &talks mentioned about.

I was wary the first time I went solo, but have been back over 10 times solo now. I love it.

As others have said, you'll find people to chat to in shops, if you fancy it. If not, don't. I tend to sit, read and get smashed. Then off on me bike to the next place I want to go.

I'm going back solo in March but return on the 8th

Nothing else to add... I can totally confirm this opinion, except my first time in Dam was solo as well. You don't need to depend on anybody, just enjoy everything at your pace and smoke yourself out. And make new friends, some for 1 hour some for longer. Enjoy your trip mate, Dam in March is cool.
