Totally agree with that as a shopping list, and while you're at Club Media - get a look at the super skunk too. If there are nice fat lady nuggets - buy themRickydude wrote:Hi all,
So i was the R in OneHighMofo's report, a fun time was had by all and cant wait to go back in he summer. Hope the report helps all of you that are heading out to Dam over the next few weeks(have fun).
make sure you hit up Club Media for the Champagne Haze, Erste Hulp for the Somari and Bluebird for the Melty Madness... all three of these shops were my fave for both quality of the smoke and vibe of the coffee shop. I'll give honorable mentions to Voyagers(Fromage Bleu was nice and met some friendly people here on 2 visits) and 137(BB Cheese great value).
Peace
Thinking back I'm more and more interested in buying Skunk #1 derivatives… that particular example had a nice 'precursor to Shoreline' floral vibe that was really enjoyable. Like a sweeter skunkier version of the darker Shoreline pheno's. If I were going back this week - that would be on my todo list
Have fun on your trips everyone, and thanks again for the kind words - really glad you've enjoyed it as much as we had fun writing it. Got some strange looks at times and my missus laughed at us for two days straight but we figured we might as well write it down as we spend all frigging day harping on about it

OneHighMofo & Rickydude... Epic trip and awesome reporting. Tip of the hat to you Sirs
jc2k... Originally when I hit The Dam next week (Fri 13th
) I was going to Utopia for my first stop but as they no longer have Skywalker Kush or Champagne Haze on the menu 1e hulp will where I blaze first... The Somali sounds epic! Anything else good?
Due to the fellas above Club Media gets visit number 2
Champagne Haze... Can't wait!

Re: What's Good RIGHT NOW: Real Time Weed Reports From Amste
OK, so back home now and a bit less wasted so probably better able to put thoughts down in a manner that's going to be meaningful!
Only went to three shops in total as a: lazy b: too stoned c: didn't really need to go anywhere else!
1ehulp
Still my favourite place
Somari - as indicated before, fabulous day time smoke. Really clean, great tasting and uplifting high, highly recommended.
Casey Jones - this was ok. Strong but a bit heavier than the Somari
Original g13 - nice smoke. Not too hectic and nice for the transition into evening
Enemy of the state (high CBD) - Loved this, real surprise. Great hashy taste and lovely stone - just don't smoke it if you have any plans for afterwards!
Green Place - this was round the corner from where we were staying so fitted the too stoned, lazy git mantra well!
Shoreline - standout smoke. Really strong, great taste very high to start with but mellows into a content stone. Great evening smoke. Not had the strain before but will seek it out in future
OG Reek - Meh reasonable OG Kush variant - had better..not really worth the price imho
Blueberry cheese - nice smoke, good taste and medium stone
Purple kush - looked great, heavy stone but didn't taste as good as it looked and smelt. Again, expensive for the gram
Mediterranean
Only place open in the area we were on Saturday morning and needed somewhere for a quick smoke. Ended up getting their chocolupe. Stand out surprise of the trip....Vaped a normal amount and was totally wrecked for ages, though not in a couch lock way. Very energetic just so, so high - great sativa buzz. Loved it and, to be honest, was a bit scared of it as it went on for a good few hours! When smoked in a spliff, it mellowed a bit and wasn't as potent..Real surprise and worth the 15 euros a gram.
That's it for this trip.

Twat? That's me then but I don't give a flying fuckmacky wrote:Great job HMF, nice to see money no object. Hate when some twat talks about bud tender not selling them half a gram or some one sponging there smoke. I would crawl with you guys anytime peace
I can always buy more if it's excellent(plus I'm self-confident enough to not care about people thinking I can't afford something)!
I'm used to quite cheap homegrown weed of high quality at home and mostly go for imported hash anyway(quality was better back in the day as well).
As OneHighMofo on here already mentioned(cheers for that
Their customers seem to simply don't care so they get away with it.
There are a few connoisseurs out there in the coffeeshops anyway so most customers are happy to buy this standard of weed as they don't seem to know much better(most probably the quality of the black market at their homes is even poorer). No one can blame them.
Even on this board - no offence intended - estimated half of people don't care too much either as they go there for holiday a couple of times a year if at all.
Each to their own!

@JESSCASS Nothing personal about twat comment, I have no problem with someone buying a half gram. It,s the twats who don,t understand a busy CS that doesn,t sell half grams. I,m with you on the hash,I don,t go there for the weed.

Back home in the UK now. Tried 17 strains in 5 days. Will keep it short n sweet...
Katsu
Mango Haze - Buy this if you want a sativa! I bought their Amnesia & S.S.H as well & as nice as the Amnesia was I should've got 5g of the Mango! Best sativa strain of the trip for me. Nice fruity smell on the buds, energetic & clear headed high. Made my music sound awesome & blew the Champagne Haze from Club Media away... Each to their own though
Green Place
Shoreline - Recommended by others on this board & it gets my thumbs up as well. Nice high & nice stone. Another strain I wish I'd bought more of.
Voyagers
Tangie - Top smoke! Never been that impressed with this shop previously but this was another excellent smoke. Clear, serene high. Nice warm glow after. Would defo buy again. Orangey citrusy goodness!
Hunters
L.A Kush - Surprise smoke of the trip for me. Didn't feel overly strong hitting it but such a looooong lasting relaxing stone. Bought it twice! A real creeper of a strain.
Favourite coffeeshop was Katsu. 1e Hulp, Green Place, Hunters & De Dampkring all gave me enough great memories to last till the summer!!

No worries. You can check my travelogue in that section as well...
Great Coffeeshop, very impressed with the Amnesia but the Mango was a standout for sure.

I have to agree. The Mangu at the Katsu has been the standout smoke on my trip so far. You can read my trip report for details.

Off the menu ice o lator at de grall- strawberry diesel €40, heavy heavy smoke, but a little harsh
Champagne haze from club media - good smoke, good crystal cover, good stone
Tangerine dream- fruitier, stronger but slightly harsher than the champagne haze
Temple ball- green house, nice black hash, lovely taste but not that strong.
