Ill be there on Saturday, hopefully for opening so I can have a go of one of their Roors. Anyone have any idea of what's 'written on' the menu at the moment? Is it still the LA confidential?

I was there in March and the OG Hindu Kush was 'written on' the menu, which usually suggests low quantity and EXTREMLY high quality. It was one of the best smokes I've had in my 7 trips to Amsterdam. The crystals literally fell off the buds when you picked them up, thats how packed with trichomes they were. I don't know if anyone else smoked this batch of Kush, but if you did you would remember it.

Superb shop, which sadly I've never been lucky enough to get a seat in. Hopefully that'll change at the weekend though. I'll keep you posted.

This is the place I go to in Amsterdam when I want some quality smoke, plus the budtenders always seem nice and friendly - even when the shop is packed with people.

A lot of the weed here is expensive, but I would say that it is mostly worth it.

The one thing that irritates me is that there was a guy at the counter in front of me and he was smelling every fucking strain. and only ended up buying a couple of g's in the end. At least 4 minutes.

This isn't the first time this has happened.

Very nice cannabis products though i must say.

The thing with GA is they'll do that with each and every customer, top guys/shop/gear.

Dont get me wrong, everything about the shop is great. I love it. But when you get customers looking at every fucking strain, when they can clearly see a long queue behind them. That pisses me off. There is no need to take 5 minutes to buy a g or 2 of weed. Ive seen people queing for 15-20 minutes before. Not the shops fault that they sell top quality gear i suppose. Some people need to speed up when at the counter purchasing. :D

It has to be my old favourite Grey Haze. Or Old Skool Super Silver Haze from 2006/7.

I can see where you are coming from. If you just want a quick stop and grab go elsewhere. If you go to a connoisseurs shop you will find connoisseurs, and they want to know what they are buying. If I'm paying 10-14EUR a gram I wanna see most of the menu. Standard procedure. Hate me if u like.

I have to agree. I usually try to be as fast as I can, but like Ash said, if I am paying so much for 1g I want to see it, hear the dealers opinion and so on. Of course it fucks a bit that you have to wait long but I never understand the people who are looking at me like I am some sort of asshole for taking 2-3minutes to sort out what I want. I always love the procedure. Whenever I can I stand at the counter and let a friend of mine in the line so I can have a look at whatever the customers in front of me are having a look on. It belongs together for me. Buying high quality weed isnt like buying milk in a super market. Its like buying a 300€ wine in a wine-store, I love looking, smelling and talking with the dealer about the bud. Of course you cant do this as long as you want, but a bit time is needed ;)
