Is that the video for last years cup? if so I watched it myself last night and it would put me off giving High Times any money in the future.

The CC is pretty commercial, more about cash than weed. I know Berto, one of the dealers in Amnesia quite well, and he's warned me against it. My idea of a good smoking trip is not when theres an extra 5000 americans in town filling the coffeeshops, but I do see the appeal for them.

Hi doods, I think that having a CC is an essential part of the way, we should ALL know what is being grown to satisfy an ever increasing number of peeps who want to sit, have a chai, a pipe, a chat and whatever and one of the ways of acheiving all of this (the best) is to have an influx of peeps who are willing to assess what has been grown to be sold in the coffee shops. So, some make money and some don't. Isn't it more about having a celebration of what has been grown (and that inculdes the CS that have susssed out, what make a GOOD CS) during the past year ? Go there, have a toke and then judge what YOU want ? Bom Shiva

Basically the editor of High Times hired some actors to enter some weed they bought in Amsterdam in the cup as an independant seed company, this weed beat DNA's chocolope in a blind taste by 1 guy then they were seen afterwards getting people to write the strain name on the voting form, the ones you see on the video stated they were going to vote for GA, Grey Area then lost the cup by 1 vote to Barneys, all because the editor claimed he wanted to show the flaws.
