Amsterdam Trip help

Ive introduced myself in the introduction section. Im Joe and will be heading off to Amsterdam from the 29th October to the 2nd of November. My mate will be turning 18 whilst we are over there and having read other posts about U18s in Adam he will definatly be keeping out until his birthday arrives. Our plan is to get settled on the first day, then I will probably head out and get some bud from a CS and we take it back to the hotel and smoke it. Ive read about people smoking spliffs in parks? Is this acceptable or would it be disrespectful? Is it common or not? In the coffee shop I plan to smoke and drink a little myself as it would be rude not to.

Whilst we are there we plan to travel to between 5-8 CS (I realise when under the influence this may not be possible) so what are the CS I must check out:

So far on my list are:
Grey Area
Pink Flyod
Greenhouse (there is more than 1 i believe?)
Amnesia

Where else should we be heading and where should we avoid?

Also whilst there we are planning to try upto 10 different types of bud:

So far on our hitlist are:
Big Buddah Cheese from Grey Area
Chocolope from Grey Area
Arjan's haze from Greenhouse?
C-13 Haze
We would also like to try some Hash as I have never smoked any before as people have always told me its really horrible.

What are the strains we must try?

I do smoke weed sometimes and over the summer smoked quite regularly but we will obviously pace ourselves as we realise that the weed in Amsterdam is alot stronger.

Now we can both skin up but we would rather not bother as neither of us are experts, are cones cheap in Amsterdam? Where abouts would we get them from, im considering taking some with me, is it worth it?

Also ive read that in alot of CS bongs and stuff are on offer to use free of charge? If we do not know how to use these things should we stay away or ask for help? I would not want to annoy any of the staff and it wouldnt kill me to keep away if it would do so. I have used bongs before buts its more the other things I have no idea how to use.

We are also planning on trying Shrooms, Ive read the advice on here and we will definatly be using the "buddy system", be in our hotel room and buying the weakest type, I know its different for each person but how long can we expect the trip to last roughly? Also people have said do not smoke and take them, when you say do not smoke do you mean, that day, within 2 hours?

I am planning on keeping track of the trip so will try to post a overview afterwards on here, but it may not happen.

I appreciate all the help and if you can answer any or all of the questions above your input would be greatfully recieved.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE:
FeeAdam, Choice Exact, Pick Up The Pieces(three shops all right next to each other),Paradise, Smokey on Rembrandtplein, and most coffeshops in the red light (I underline most because there are a few that are good in the read light)

Hash to try:
anything with the RIFFman name on it is pretty good, Grey Mist Trichromes(grey area)/ gunpwder(stix), chocolata hash(paradox), other people will be more helpful at this

Bongs and other stuff to use:
By other stuff do you mean volcano(as it is really the only other things beside bongs that i have seen in coffeshops) most shops will either work it for you or show you how to do it yourself, beside its not that hard to do

Cones can be picked up in every head shop in town and at a lot of other little tourist places

Shrooms:
dont worry just keep your mind positive before and during your trip and you should be fine. OH and stay away from windows we dont need/want you falling out of it
As for the smoking part, i have never had any sort of problems, but i am sure they mean not to smoke during your trip. Although I, on the other hand, say that when coming down its perfectly fine to smoke away

Dont smoke much hash so cant help with that 1
Dont do Mushrooms (No more) so cant help with that 1

You will be able to get cones so dont worry.

Cant really help with weed choice as its been a few months since my last visit. But there will be others who have visited recently who can help with that1.

I am in town same time as you if you want to meet up for a chilled out smoke.

Hash reccomendations seem to be a little thin on the ground so ill reccomend. Riffmans : any names all seem to be good.
Chocolata : available from Paradox.
Golden Soles : Grey Area
Aladins Chocolate : Popeyes ( if its still available.)
Barney Rubble : Hugely expensive but your on holidays!
Kali-mist iceolater : Bushdocter.
Parvati Cream : Cafe 420/De Kuil
Maroc Red : Cafe 420/De Kuil
Twizzla: Green place.
Super Afgan: Birdy ( was there last year.)
Kashmir: Mellow Yellow
Umma Gumma : Dampkring
NTB : Stix

Im quite a big hash smoker in dam due to un-realiable hash connections, these are the notes of good hash from my last years trip to the city hope these helps you out.

Dont appear to have any review on the main page, are they far away from the rest of the CS or just less well known?

Regarding Mellow Yellows I read somewhere (might have been here) that they do not like tourist especially ones who ask alot of questions and do not have large amounts of bud knowledge (id put myself in that category) is this true or was this an unfair review I read?

I know there are different types of weed, sativa & indica. Sativa is Hazes etc, are these the best to smoke in the morning as apprently they give you a more energetic feeling whereas Indica's make you feel tired and stoned, am I correct or way off?

Ive also read on here that people are using cheap bud to fill out their spliffs, is this ok to do, I prefer to smoke pures but realise that smoking a strong strain too early would probably knock me flat on my ass. I do use Tobacco sometimes, which is better in your opinions, rolling with a cheap filler bud or tobacco?

Where is the best place to get space cake from? Alot of places sell them but ive read negative reviews of some, would it be ok to take a few pieces away with me for later?

As a general rule this is spot on (although some people are different). Sativas tend to give a more heady, cerebral and energetic high, while a good strong indica will put you on your ass with a full body stone.

I tend to stick to Sativa dominant strains like hazes or a nice Diesel in the daytime so that I can still function. Then at night time I smoke something a bit more stoney like LA Confidential, MK Ultra or cheese.

Horses for courses I know, but that works for me. I find that a heavy indica in the day makes me need a nap - which always feels like lost time when in AMS!

You guys are going to have so much fun and respect for doing all this research before diving in, def the best way to go!

Vondel park is cool to smoke in and in my opinion the BEST place to trip in, NOT a hotel room. The great thing with shrooms is they are so much easier to dose than acid. Start small, see how it feels and how it sits with you. If after an hour or two you fancy some more, delve a little deeper... I always have smoke with me when tripping. It is a great anchor for me and fab when finally coming down... Shrooms were invented for the outdoors...

Might be worth mentioning not to buy anything on the street, even though you will get offered allsorts. The city centre street dealers are all scammers!

I don't think the parks are going to be the places for enjoying the Dam next week. Wet and windy!!

Id rather take my first shroom trip in a safer environment as I dont know how it will affect me, I like to be well prepared and didnt want to end up at rubbish places as I dont have much time there. I realise that when your under the influence things dont always go as planned and sometimes you just have to go with the flow, but I do have a few places on my hit list.

45E a gram, I dont think I will be trying that hash tbh, I was thinking of trying something around the 10E-15E a gram mark.

Yeh I know not to buy anything from street dealers, ive heard stories about them just stealing peoples whole wallet and making a dash, but thanks for the heads up.

Where is the best shop to get supplies from? (skins, grinder etc) and where are the best space cakes or are they all similar?
