My last minute June trip.

So I'm not really sure what sort of trip report I want to do so I'll just start writing and see what happens. Was traveling solo, never done a whole trip like this but I bloodly loved it!!!!

Day 1.

As alway first thing I do is go to Barneys Uptown for breakfast after first going to Barneys Cs to pick up something to smoke after my breakie.

Barneys - ask to smell the Grinspoon n Pineapple chunk both smell disappointing. Grinspoon smells like its not been dried properly. Pineapple wasn't even Pineapple I don't think. Ask Bt what nice sativas he has. He pulls out Nevilles haze and Utopia haze, yawn. Neither is special so just get .5g Upotia.

After the alway descent but overly priced Irish breakfast - I do prefer the triangular hash browns though - I smoked the Utopia haze. Should have been long stringy buds but this was just an average amnesia type bud. Not impressed. Not even real Utopia haze. Not a good start.

After settling into my apartment I head to Grey Area via Paradox of course.

I never buy a lot from Paradox weight wise. But I do love there .5g deals. Alway top quality bud but not a massive menu. Pre packed bags here, not perfect but the bud will be nice.

Paradox .5g Chocolope nice smoke. Felt heavy headed for first half of joint then as the mist cleared I felt awake alert and ready for a walk. The Chocolope isn't one of my favourites but I think Paradox has a very good tasty example of it.

Little walk to Grey Area, sunny day nice buzz. Things are looking up!

Grey Area - eyes go straight to the East Coast Sour Diesel.

East Coast Sour Diesel - I smell it and want 5g straight away. I decide to hold off and get just one gram. Covered in crystal the ECSD is slightly darker and has a tinge of purple in it. Sour diesel flavour not sweet like the SSD. Very heavy on the head with a long lasting buzz.







Met Gapie here and we decide to go for a smoke at Green Place

Green Place - older bald dude,grumpy. Ask to see the OG s. all smell good so ask for .5g of each. Which old bald dude said no too! Dick. Give me a gram of each then. Grrr.

OG kush - looks nice smells nice. Warn Gapie that every time I smoke The OG from here I end up doing something dumb like getting lost. Nice joint better 2 months ago. Maybe end of same batch?

Ghost Face Killer OG - nice lemony Kushness. Very musky, full flavoured, probably better later on in the evening I think to myself! This was much better than last time.






White OG - smoked later.


While smoking here talking to Gapie I can't help thinking about the lovely ECSD. So decide to go back for 5gs. It's not that busy in Dam at the mo but you never know when the good stuffs going to sell out. So even if your there a while, if you smoke something you really like, make sure to stock up.

Grey Area - 5g ECSD

Haven't got my man bag so the 5gs goes in my pocket. I hate doing this obviously, as it damages the buds. So I put it in the top of my pocket trying hard not to squash it . Gapie and I decide to try out 1eHulp. Pretty stoned now! 3 heavy indices in a row! First day though so why not? Being sensible a quick detour to my apartment is agreed upon. Don't want to ruin the ECSD do I.

The detour to my yard turns into a trip to Coffeeshop 137. It happens in Dam!

Coffeeshop 137 - nice place! First time here and am shocked how close it is to the hustle and bustle Of Haarlemmestraat. Great for a quiet coffee and smoke anytime of the day. Great outdoor seating perfect for the sunny days! Menu is varied and has some nice looking buds. Need a sativa to clear some of the mist. So

Strawberry Cough - Looks nice. Has a subtle smell so amongst some of the stronger smelling herb this may be overlooked by some. 1g pls as I want a joint of this first thing next morning.






Silver Kush - don't really need another indica but it smells so good and looks juicy so .5g pls






Crush up half the Strawberry Cough. I really like the smell. Slightly sweet skunky goodness. First few pulls lift my eyebrows, nice. Tastes like it smells, not the strongest but does lift the indica mist long enough for me to realise that I've lost the ECSD fuck!!!!!!!!

Check my pockets yet again, look around 137 but hey ho it's gone lol. Never lost any bud before but 5g of the finest ECSD at a price point of 80euros. Gosh I felt like a proper fool! And was. Gapie the sound guy that he is wanted to retrace our steps. But what's the point? It's gone fuck it.

We had decided to part ways after 137 before I had realised I'd dropped the ECSD so we continued with this plan. I headed home and Gapie went back to Grey Area retracing our steps just in case. What a guy especially as it was thumping down with rain!

Good report so far mate, real shame about the 5g loss. I suppose thats one of the downsides of buying it in big portions. If you loss something the loss is greater. As you say the store might run out as well. Keep it up

After parting ways with Gapie it's time for some food. Nice little Chinese just off the Westerstraat. Not much to look at but the food is lovely. Crispy sweet n sour pork with crakling and plain rice yummy. Been out a while now so time to head home and chill before I meet my mate Bertram later.

At home I decide to smoke some

Silver Kush - what a lovely deep earthy taste this has. Defo one of my favs as I love the flavour. Hard hitting too so I save half till later!

Late evening now and time to meet my mate Bertram. We meet and walk down towards 1eHulp.
I give him the Silver Kush joint I'd saved. 'Dammmmnnnnn what's this??????'

I already have some OG kush and White Og from earlier so decide to get some BHO. Bertram's like 'fuk man u sure?'
It's expensive but I'm on holiday so why not!
Can't remember what B man got. But I want to try the White Og so roll that first.

White Og Green Place - B man smells it. Kandy Kush right? No White Og I say. Smells like Kandy to me says B. He was right. Nice smoke but cheaper elsewhere with the correct name. Wankers.





After this we decide to crush up the Og and some weed B man got and lather it in BHO.

BHO - no pics of this but it crackled and was defo not worth the money. Yeah we were buzzing but after paying 22e for half a gram you fucking should be!

Decide to go to Funky Monkey after this as its on the way home for both of us.

Funky Monkey - nice menu nice shop friendly staff. Menu is varied lots of tastes on offer. Don Tangelo or something springs out. B mans tried it and says its a nice indica. Need a pick me up though so go for SSH smells like a nice example. Buy a gram roll it then proceed to spread a shit load of BHO onto it. So much for the pick me up! B man used to work here so we sit chatting to the owner Moose. Ok guy wonders what the fuck we are smoking. As B man explains I offer him the joint which he politely refused! Pussy.

Home time now. B man has work at 8 the next day and I had an early start as there was a TnT at Voyagers at 11!!!

I know mate. But on the upside it's not hard to find more in Dam. Think I would have been more gutted if back home in England cos herb like that is harder to come by!

Ive run into that same guy and had the same problem. Greenplace is the only place I've run into that won't do a 1/2 gram if you are already buying something else...and he's a dick about it too....

Really enjoyed reading your report. Sorry about the loss. It happens. Happened to me with about 8g in an envelope once. Really sucks but luckily you can always go back and get more right!

Day 2

Well I did write this section the other day but deleted it before I posted
Has this happened to you? Lol. So this is attempt two.

TnT at Voyagers today so was looking forward to this. Never been to an official one. Wake n bake with some Strawberry Cough. Perfect with a PG tip. Although I wasn't that gutted about my 5g ECSD loss I was damned if I wasn't going to replace it! So I got ready and quickly pops over to Grey Area. The plan was to take it home before trekking to the top end of town.

The sun was shining so the short walk from Westerstraat to GA was nice. Plenty of people at cafes sat outside catching the rays. I do like this part of Amsterdam. Has a local feel about it. GA wasn't busy, tall guy who served me yesterday was where again. Told him I'd lost my weed and he didn't seem too bothered till I reminded him of the amount! He told me a story of how he once lost a whole bag which made me feel better. Also sold me my replacement 5gs for 64e so that was a nice gesture on his part

Managed to get the East Coast home this time! I roll a jay of it before my walk to Voyagers. I could get a tram or bus, but I do like walking in Dam. 25min later and I can see Voyagers for the first time this trip! I do look forward to coming here and seeing the ever changing menu. Never point buying much weed anywhere until Voyagers menu has been seen. Good weed can obviously be bought at many outlets but for me Voyagers is now the benchmark.

I'm here for the TnT but apart from me and Gapie don't think anyone else was there. Let's see the menu then! Already been here 24 hours after all. Greet HB who remembers me. ' Koshers here' he says Good timing I think! 5 grams pls Bless (I know what your thinking) but once bitten....

I've just smoked the East Coast so Kosher Kush after this at 11 am isn't the best of ideas I think. So I ask to see

Sour Pink Grapefruit 1g - this stuff just PONGS. Dank evil smell. It stinks, I love it. The buzz is a bit heavier on the head than I expected but not monging.






This ended up being a mega session at Voyagers. Sat at the bar stool talking with Bless,Gapie and a few of the locals we had fun interesting conversation. Anyone for curry sauce? Lol. Without raisins of course. We were chatting here for a good four or five hours chongng proper pucker weed.


Kosher Kush - don't really need to say much about this do I? Not as strong as the cup batch but I'm just being picky! You can be a little in Amsterdam. The earthquake like buzz hits with big tremors sending pleasure waves through my head, the taste truly distinctive. It is nice the Kosher It rates highly on the Richter scale.










High as a kite I was but Gapie reminded me of our plan to voyage, lol, down to Club Media. Only been here once before due to time or people in toe. So this was a perfect time if not state to visit. 5g more of Kosher first. It would defo be gone today HB warns. You gotta love that guy! He was right of course.

So I know what your thinking.....and so was I!!!! But it wasn't going to happen. Not again. NEVER again....touch wood. Knock knock.

So we got to Club Media via my apartment, and a tram. Which are a bit of a rip off tbh and I try to avoid paying where possible pleading tourist ignorance. Oh the shame! Club Media is a nice discreet place, quiet and chilled. In desperate need of a sativa so go for the

Champagne Haze - 1g nice haze leaning on the sour side. Nice but not special in anyway. The pick me up was definitely needed though. One 0.5g spiff is swiftly followed up by another this time accompanied by a layer of the now notorious

Zooltjes - and I can see why! Or feel should I say. Massive long lasting head rush followed by the lazy dustbin lid eye effect. Lovely hmmmmmm.

After a cup of tea - not PG, to wash down the Zooltjes, champagne and a few spliff Gapie made OG18 and.....not sure what else we decide to head our separate ways home. Gapie was off for some home cooked food and me for some takeaway pizza from a family run Italian on the Westerstraat.


After my pizza, washed down with coke and Euro2012 I was ready to chillax for the evening. I had my Kosher a bit of ECSD, Breaking Bad on the iPad,and slippers on. After all I was here all week no need to rush about. I hadn't counted on B man however! Let's go out he says. I need some of that Silver Kush! Who am I to argue, plus I am on holiday.

A little trip to 137. The ambience is nice, busy but not packed the crowd is local but friendly. A few spiffs of Silver Kush and relax. Its was one of the smokes of the trip if they have any left go get some earthy goodness.

We were talking about the Zooltjes and other hashes. Kind of wetted the appetite for more, I'd left it at home though. Oh well where should we go to for more Greenhouse, Dampkring?

Greenhouse - weed is ok at best hash can be brilliant. We sit in the back as the place is packed out. It's Friday night. I go for the

Manali cream - rolled with some Strawberry Cough. Tastes good but am mashed up so the buzz itself is now buzzing. Home time after this, nice evening with plenty of people milling around. Don't you just love Amsterdam.........
