Hi Rich, welcome to Amsterdam !

I am 22, from England, and am here studying my masters in Economics at the UvA (your course sounds infinitely better) =)

Personally I have found I really enjoy living here, it isn't as expensive as I thought prior to moving and when the weather isn't shit like today it is a real pleasure to be here =) I find the education very very hard, a big shock compared to my undergraduate course in the UK (who would have thought Economics mite involve some maths !).

I tend to buy my smoke from coffeeshops in De Pijp (or Het Ballonetje as it is literally opposite my university), hopefully see you around sometime =)

I'm 23 from Ireland and moved to Amsterdam 2 weeks ago...looking to explore and meet peeps.
I'll be studying Animation over here for the next 2 years & I'll also be playing as much music on the street as I'm allowed (I've to make my sign but I don't know what I'll put on it yet, suggestions?), so if you see a guy playing Burn One Down by Ben Harper it's probably 98% likely to be me.

If there's any meet ups or whatever ye organise on here I'm definitely up for them, I've already found out about several coffee shops and strains and I'll try make a few posts detailing them.
Welcome to the board. Really enjoy listening to street music. Hope to hear you blowing on that harp one of these days. Maybe during the cup.
How much did you produce?

Osdorp, that is a far way out ! I just had the UvA find me a place (kinda regret not getting my own now) and they stuck me in a big block of studenty flats. Where are you thinking of moving too ?

Also just to point out Het Ballonetje is opposited the Faculty of Economics and Business, not the main UvA bit in town ! Though that (the central bit) is near Kadinskys (looks a bit pricey for me to get on the regular) and Nes Cafe (smoker friendly bar that seems to have a great rep on here).

Yea I tend to shop for most things at Vomar or Dirk van der Broek, except vegetables which I tend to get from a little shop up Dappermarkt.

Rich OG You're right near me! Sensemilia is ok (really good amnesia haze) but alot of the white weeds there taste the same. Boerejongons is easy on the tram, short walk from witte de witstraat.

Osdorplien isn't too bad tbh, remind me of bit of liverpool and manchester. The shops here are usually a lot cheaper than the centre, only thing I dont like is the traveling time from the centre home.
