Question About Coffee Shop Servings...

I'm wondering what the average gram of weed works out to in regards to number of joints.

I usually spoke .5-1g joints... can I expect to be buring the same .5-1g joints in Dam?

My usual off day ritual is to burn from wake to sleep... 5-10grams on an off day... so that's roughly 50-100e a day.

I don't mix, so I'm worried I will literally be burning through euros by the hour.

shops in dam use digi scales, and you can see the read out at the counter. so what u get really is a gram or two. and not what your dealer says is a gram.

possibly a factor is that the weed in dam has not been through the same smuggling process that it sometimes does in england. sometimes 1gram in england has been squashed whilst being smuggled or moved around in transit.... and the grams in dam are usually very fluffly and appear much bigger.

this squahsed-ness may be a factor in how it burns/fits in a spliff and how much you smoke at home.

just for the sake of it i wanna share a kind of related picture i have. a year ago in dam, we were in the bulldog palace for drinks on the firday night, i ran out of weed, so was forced to pop down stairs to get some more from the bulldog coffeeshop. i dont usually do that, but god was i happy that i did.... dont know why, but they had a special offer on 'sensi star'. it was chepaer than usual, so i thought sod it, i ll have it, im drunk now so dont really care about quality bhudda, jusy gimmie something cheap.

this is the 1 gram they gave me, for 6 euros!!!!! amazing.. imagine 3.5 times that! i should of bought an 1/8.

another point, for when it comes to the amount you smoke...

i manage to smoke more in dam than at home. nothing to do with weed strength etc... i think its down to adrenaline. i have my holiday hat on in dam and i can power through like a champion. if i smoked 1/8 in an evening in england i be completely asleep, but i can do it in dam....

You most certainly will be burning (GreenPlace do some good deals on 5g bags, aswell as Mellow Yellow's 4g bag of Blueberry for 25e(23e @ Noon),

or you could buy 10g's or Quazer Haze from Barney's (17euros per gram)

the av Gram in amsterdam is 12.50E so if your smoking 5-10gs a day it will cost you more then you think! like others told you Noons BB for 4 at 23E
but im sure youll not need smoke that the whole time youll be there
and it your first time there? youll be spending like crazy on first day like a kid in a candy shop for the first time
i say give yourself a limit for the first day like 300euro
then slow down on the spending after that and see how long it took you to smoke all that you got !

i find it hard you smoke 5-10gram a day at price you sayed in other post that your paying for your weed!or your smoke realy shit weed!
be ready to face real high prices in A`dam! 10euro =14 loneys

Yep first time i spend so much more than the other times..
But you can find very good weed at less than 10-12.euro a gram, it just requires a bit of shopping around. Try the shops out of centrum, they usually have better deals. It may even be worth going to Harleem and stacking up on lots of cheap good buds and taking them back to dam.

Thanks guys. I think I'll need to find a good 5 gram every morning and then work on tasting specific buds throughout the day.

I usually CAN'T smoke more than 10 grams a day. Even that is HUGE impact on health etc... I would have kinda soar throat after smoking that much for more than maybe 5 days....

You are correct SR. WHat I was trying to ask was:

How many Joints can you expect to roll out of a 1 gram bag?

I'd get two max and I roll a pure joint with rizla ultra thins (not a kingsiz).

From the sounds of feedback, I'll be buying 5 gram bags every morning at around 25-35e. Then at night, probably smoke another 5-10 grams of the pricier offerings.
