Re: Popeye
Walked by a few times this week and saw work going on and it basically fully closed. Walked up to the door yesterday to fear the worst that the shop will reopen in the summer   Oh please no, I cycled passed many times over the weekend, delighted to see it closed and hopefully stays that w...

Re: Tourist ban (again)
"Over three million foreign tourists visit coffeeshops in Amsterdam every year. They have made the capital's cannabis market uncontrollably large and a portal to serious crime", Halsema said. Nice, let's totally shift blame onto the tourist for our own mess of allowing/creating the backdoo...

Re: La Grotte
Hasn't been opening in the mornings when visiting this week, looks to have had some soft rebranding to Green B's @ La Grotte (or something similar) otherwise looks the same inside with its space meringue clad walls. Seen an older lady working on a table with laptop most days when closed, no sign of ...

Purple Kosher €12? I got 2 grams I think... Preferred the tub smell on this over the regular and higher priced Kosher. Not super loud taste or smell but enough earthy/musky tones that kept it different to most things I'd consumed this week. On another note these were biggest and most dense nugs I go...

Re: 't Grasje, Utrecht
Up there as a new entry as one of my favourite coffeeshops, classic throwback Dutch style CS, lots of hanging plants with a large window front and cool bamboo framed water feature (very cool/mesmerising) Looked at Sira Gold & Sira Silver (€11), went for the latter as it jumped up the nose as a v...

Re: Yo-Yo
Came for the quiet and Frisian Dew outdoor, Frisian looked and smelled good but the Critical and Lavender looked quite poor, indoor stuff wasn't particularly great and smelled damp and non descript (cheese) 1.4g Frisian Dew for €10, one of the better examples I've had from here. Plenty of structure ...

Re: Culture Boat, Utrecht
Got out here on a windy day which made for quite a lot of rocking on the boat, beautiful setting for a CS which is a nice novelty. Shitty queue system on the canal and bud desk behind screens, shown an array of bags and asked which you wanted: OG Kush flower (€10 per g/€14 per 1.4g) went for the big...

Rolled up late the other night and looked at the hash: Most looked a bit dry and basic so ended up going for the Menali @€12.50? Per g Had some oil shine in the bag that seems to disappear by the next day but this was the darkest, softest and tastiest hash of the week. Wasn't quite as soft and malle...

Re: Central
Arrival Buy & Fly: 1g White widow flower (€9.80?) pretty good example and some of the best flower I've had from central to date. Smoked and vaped well and still gave a good hit. 1g Warm Ears hash, had followed other reviews to try this but it was quite a hard, light hash for me and wasn't partic...

Re: Paradox
Paradox is currently under some big construction and looks completely different (worse) than usual with only 3 small tables on the right hand side and an angled sweeping counter from the left. Walking in with Nugs the other night gave us quite the shock seeing.it in its current state(hopefully not f...

Re: Het Ballonnetje
Also purchased the small buds of Cookies here, €8 a g and very dense tiny buds, really grind up well, plenty of punch and flavour. Quality all round. 2g went a long way given the bud size.
Nosed a couple of other tubs but nothing stood out during this visit.

Nosed Beachfront @€12.50/13? Per g. Quite fruity and forward from the tub. Good strong sativa kick for a morning buzz but a little hit and miss with flavour, smoked quite smoothly when combusted too Sour Diesel Filtered Hash @€15 think I got a bit excited by this one, very malleable and dark, easy t...

 Jumbo jet with 5 passengers on board: Donald Trump, Borris Johnson, the Pope, Michale D Higgins ,and a 10 year old school boy. The plane is about to crash. There are only 4 parachutes . Trump says I need one American first, and he takes one and jumps . The Pope says I'm the pontiff I need one ...
