Chocolata became Abraxas 2 on Spuistraat...which closed in January due to the school rule.

Re: Abraxas to close today

FFS, how stupid can one person be? Especially a coffeeshop worker who should know better!
Fingers crossed they're allowed to re-open, but it's not likely after this :x

Re: Abraxas to close today

Everything points to the one near Dam Sq closing at 1pm today - they announced it on their facebook page yesterday (link in original post)

Re: Abraxas to close today

So, this is definitely the original then? But they've only just realised it's close to a school...well, a school gym

Re: Abraxas to close today

Actually I'm confused...is this the original just off Dam Sq or A2 on Spuistraat??

Anyone in town able to advise either way??

Re: Rockland

Ended up in this place during Queensday the other year as my mate wanted to rest, despite my insistence that Grey Area was only another 200m and would be a much nicer place to chill out. Unfriendly budtender, who before we'd barely walked in was telling us we had to buy weed - my mate was out anyway...

Re: Johnny

Not one I'd recommend TBH, the selection of bud was nice and well priced, but it's more of a 'buy & fly' for the locals and had it not been pouring with rain we'd have flown too...no-where to really sit down and smoking has to be done in a glass box.

Re: Voyagers

I'm unsure about Voyagers if I'm honest...it's a nice clean shop in a great location and the bud is great, but it's more of a 'buy & fly' to me - I can't quite put my finger on what stops me from liking it though, alas you can't win 'em all LOL

Found this gem last summer, an amazing afternoon chill out spot...The staff are always smiling, and they sell top quality weed & hash.
Recommendations: Kandy Kush & the Turkish hash - oh and of course the cake

Re: Solo

One of my new regular stops as it's nice and close to where I sometimes stay (a boat in Oosterdok) and always welcoming :) On the last trip we took an early morning flight and by the time we checked-in we were baked - cue an afternoon nap - after which we were a bit laggy, so we popped in for a cup ...

Re: AmicitiA - Hostel boat, Oosterdok

lmao at the last pic at hostelworld. I'm assuming a wide angle lens or screwup in photoshop, it looks like the bunks are 8 inches apart! Great find, thanks, subscribing to the thread so I can find it again before my next trip. I think it just squashed to fit that frame on the site - if you click on...

Re: Freeport of Ruigoord

it's not a bad journey on a bike either but it can be a bit weird if you're alone out there in the wee small hours Hehehe...I can imagine - but if I do get there, the last thing I want to do after a night of dancing is ride back to Centrum...although the more I think about it, the more fun it sound...
