Hi everyone. Hope you're all keeping safe and well.
We had to cancel our planned road trip in April sadly but me and the missus will be back in town for what I hope is a very special day and a half in one of my favourite places in the world.
Anyone who's in town and can give us some tips on where is open restaurant, bar and coffeeshop wise we'd really appreciate it.
Can't wait!

Re: Back for a night. 5/8 - 6/8
Everything is booked and we're ready to go.
Here's a few things I've learned about flying from the UK to Amsterdam.
1. As of 10/7/20 You do not need to self isolate for 14 days.
2. You must have accomodation booked and proof of this before you travel as you may be asked in either airport.
3. You must fill in a health declaration form before you travel and keep copies on you.
In Amsterdam you have to book in advance if you want to eat in a restaurant. This does not apply to cafes and bars including coffeeshops.
And finally COFFEESHOPS ARE OPEN!!!
Hope everyone is safe and well and I'll post a trip report and hopefully do some live reporting over the day and half I'm there.
Cheers

You're welcome Ghost. I'll be sure to update this with anything else I find out.
Do you know who runs this forum now? I think a covid19 sticky in the travel plans section with travel info from different countries would be good.
