Where can i buy wood for woodburner?

We are housesitting at the weekend and the house has a wood burner.... but I forgot to ask the owner so I wondered if anyone knows where I can buy some firewood so we can cosy up with a nice smoke :D Thanks in advance for any help folks

homebase or B&Q or somewhere like that, alternative is to go to the forest and chop some yourself, where i use to work we use to go to watership down and chop some tree's for the winter
the owner probably has some there anyways

Homebase or B & Q in Amsterdam??????????????????? and no she doesn't use the woodburner, we have been before but in summer time.
