Interesting stuff, but maybe the journalist could have done a bit of a better job on the facilitation, so that the message was that the scientist have discovered which genes are responsible for the different terps and other contributors to flavour, rather than that genes are responsible... The latter point must have been obvious to anyone but nutty creationists if they gave it just a little consideration
