Spam flood

Post by Lemming »

We had a particularly nasty spam attack today. Hundreds of new topics. The usual bulk delete function failed to fully remove all of the rubbish, probably because the sheer volume caused a time out. I've now manually tidied up the mess. Hopefully I got everything and didn't delete any real posts.

I'll get onto phpBB to see whether there's anything they can do to avoid this in future.
