I answered no (AS YET)
But last trip i was very close. I had a good 7g+ and the police stopped me after passport control.
Asking me loads of quick fire questions which where answered quickly back. Also asked if i had been in trouble with the police b4
.
Asked if i had a smoke whilst in Amsterdam which i replied "of course" and have you brought any back he asks
Kept my talking then told me to get my bags. When i returned to him he said i was okay to go
Honestly i was bricking it and i wont carry on my person again. Post it only

Cant honestly answer that as the police have changed tact by me since it was reclassified. They are raiding more grows, stopping more people and hanging around grow shops ect..bennybacker wrote:Im sure for 7g it would have been a slap on the wrist and you would have lost the gear.
Ounce plus and your in bother.
Just a risk i dont want to take anymore and although only 7gs still £100 worth and i hate to lose any smoke.

Na I think twas customs. I have not been caught yet, I usually travel with less than 10g so I do not get in too much bother.the happy hacker wrote:HasAnyoneSeenMyPipe wrote:A guy on here got caught with 42g and got a 100quid fine and was given 30quid to get home.so who gave him the money to get home, surley not the pigs

I've not seen it so I don't know for sure, but I'm certain you're describing a 'back scatter' Xray. they have low levels of radiation so can be widely used - the middle aisle coming home from Schiphol springs to mind. They are controversial for effectively providing a strip search without a warrant.
I think they are basically only checking for metal items and electronics. The brief scan is unlikely to pick up organic material that clearly. But you never know.
It used to be an open secret from customs that 10g was a fine, above this was discretionary - so never get clever with them if they stop you. Also, never admit anything. Saying you've been in a CS might make you think you're sounding plausible but to plod it means 'yes officer I do take drugs' - which pretty much gives them the excuse to do anything.
Probably best not to bother if you have anything to lose.
