Swissotel

When I went to the 'Dam I stayed at the Swissotel. I don't think there is a better hotel as far as location in the whole city. It's expensive but right in the middle of Dam Square which means EVERY major coffee shop is no more than a 5 minute walk. In fact Greenhouse and Grey Area are like one block away. It's expensive so you have to have the budget. I stayed in thier executive suite and it was like 215Euros per night. Well worth it. Considering there are alot of ghetto hotels in Amsterdam it was nice to find one with a little luxury. Check it out!
