The 4/20 Gathering - Monday 20th April 2009

Still over two months away and planning is reaching an advanced stage already. Can’t be bad. Even more amazing is that I’ve got it together to book some flights so far ahead of time

J and me are not arriving until Friday evening so not likely to be able to make a meet before about 9pm. If all of these sessions at Paradox, Amnesia and 420/de Kuil culminate at the Nes then maybe we can arrange to catch up there.

Anyway, at some point, I look forward to catching up with all the regulars like AzLaker, back2thedam, BluMing, DC, Redeye, Rez and Twitch (AzLaker, BluMing, DC and me are veterans of the first ACD 4/20 and I think the others have all been at least twice now). It will also be great to meet all of those I haven’t met before such as Boner, Darkglobe, FenixNYC, Gapie, Hestia, Kermit, Ramses, SoulRider and Worsall. Boner has been making well informed contributions since the forum began and yet we’ve still not met so it’s about time I think. Hopefully all of the people on the “firm intention”, “probably” and “possibly” lists plus many others will join us too.

I'm extremely close to booking my first official trip to Amsterdam.

I've found flights for around $870-900 and I'm strongly considering a room at Greenhouse Effect (Outerspace or Redman, suggestion?) which should run either 280 or 440 euro for a 4 night stay.

Just wanna sleep on it and do a few last minute searches.

Hope to fire up a few with some of y'all.

Very good then, let's make it Paradox on Friday 4-17 at 6:00p.m., anybody else cares to join us. They close at 8:00p.m., maybe head over to t'Nes after that....unless we need to make a "Pot stop" and pick-up more supplies.
