Re: please sign this petition
Question: Why do voters have such short memories?
Issues such as this one have been plaguing societies for decades, centuries even. So why is it that people continue to elect/reelect/support those who create/support such measures? Why don't voters hold their elected representatives responsible? WHY? Because the majority of eligible voters don't vote, and politicians (and their masters) know this. Why else is cannabis still illegal? Why else are they able to pass such measures as the one in this thread?
Next elections, vote! One vote does count, because it's added to the other "one" votes, get it?
Reality check - these petitions are well intended, but let's be honest, those in power are laughing because this won't stop them, never has, never will. Boycotts and electing more favorable representatives (if there is such a thing), or all-out civil unrest - it's one or the other, or business as usual.
Nothing happy about this shit...

Not sure there is a simple answer. Good people MUST step up and retake control of local, regional, and national government from special interests. To touch upon what I mentioned in the previous post, most eligible voters don't vote. Special interest groups are aware of this fact and to ensure they have the votes needed, the spend hundreds of thousands and even millions of dollars on elections and lobbying.
To ensure business as usual, lobbyists pressure the US Congress to redistrict congressional districts when the opposition begins to gain power. For example, certain districts (esp. in the southern US) were changed because of changes in the racial makeup. The minorities (more like the actual majority) became more involved, so the districts were changed to include more whites and fewer minorities. This of course happens on the opposite end of the spectrum as well, although not as much.
Either the common citizen steps up and gets involved, or special interest groups will continue to "rule" the country, and the world as well.
In 2016, vote for Uncle Ron For President!
Happy petitioning...

I dont know for other countries, but in Germany we have hundreds of parties you can vote for, its just that most people say "those small wont make it into the cabinet, so I wont waste my vote" and they vote for the big (failure) parties againPanog wrote:Hell yeah but who do you wanna vote for ? Signed and signed up, heaven only knows where this will stop.
But as long as companies like GW (in the UK) keep getting licenced to churn out thier synthetic crap and of course thier share holders keep getting the £ it will continue until ALL substances are banned unless of course you get it from someone in a white coat.
Take care all it's getting very scary out there
