If Office Space and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy had a rom-com lovechild, it'd be Drones

The lead takes a new experimental drug, with a side-effect being it's given him super-powers...
which he seems to have extreme difficulty in getting across to others.
Has the Dude's rent-collector from The Big Lebowski as the clinician heading the experiment.

Twilight Zone (original series)
Wow. Forgot what tight little story nuggets these were, and how much they would go on to influence future movie story lines and writers (e.g., P.K. Dick).

Hobo and Machete are both movies that were "previewed" in Rodriguez/Tarantino's Grindhouse that eventually made to screen.
Ricky from Trailer Park Boys is the first major casualty in Hobo. And you don't have to wait long.

ps TPB, seasons 1-7, are also available on 'flix. Season 3, episodes 4 (Who's the microphone assassin?) and 5 (Closer to the Heart) are two of my favorites
