Afternoon update

Het balloon - Orange Glue €16, I'm smoking it now. It's yummy. And Permanent Marker at €20, not tried yet.

Then Oost for Gumball at €13 I think

Then Eastwood - Tidghine er €12 I think. Strong floral aroma blonde maroc pollen style with a high oil content. Tastes like hash should.

Had drinks and smokes in one of the Stones on warmoestraat Then Hunters bar at rembrandtplein. Both of these are new to me and I'm enjoying broadening my horizons.

Yes @ AzLaker the bud has been generally good. A couple of duffers and a couple of beauts but overall I'm encouraged as it's mainly Dutch I buy

You're getting around mate!

I used to rent an apartment on spaarndammerstraat and went to Westerpark a lot. Might be my favourite park.

Have you been down to De Kade before? It's a great shop and a beautiful part of town. Could pop into DNA for a quick buy n fly en route as well.

Good morning from your raving reporter

Last night was spent bar hopping and looking for cake

Popped in Dampkring and picked up some Rocky Dennis and UK Cheese. I know I know it won't be the same but hey nostalgia is hard to resist sometimes.

Sat in Sativa atm smoking on some McFlurry, recommended by the tenders as being "the bomb", its certainly a nice drop. Very chill shop this, staff are genuine and friendly.

Finally, some news. I know many of you will be overjoyed to hear that both Rick's CS and Barraka are open and trading as normal. I know there'd been some speculation as to whether they'd closed. I asked the lady as I walked passed Barraka and she knew nothing about being closed? Weird. Anyway had a peak at the menu - utterly dead, tied with Trefpunt as the dullest selection so far.

Dunno what to do today but de Kade may be in order

Sounds like a good night.

I hope you make it out to De Kade its got a very consistent supply of Zoap and for E15 its a good deal. Remember to pop into DNA if you do as its got some great strains at great prices.

I had the opposite experience in Sativa where the BT tried to do me out of about 25 euros for some Big Buddah Cheese. He knew what he was doing as when I went back to challenge him on it he looked very sheepish as he knew he'd been caught.

The coffeeshop itself is really cool so I'll make a point of going in again and be mindful of this one particular BT.

Great write ups, I was inspired by your trip last year and have added a few of those coffeeshops to visit in October, so chapiteau was good again ? I wanted to try there and 137. Did you make it to the stud this time , or are you leaving it?.... you always seem to do so many miles and visit loads of shops.. I shall have to add sativa to the list, fair play mate and always such good write ups

So I did indeed make to de Kade I picked up some Ice Cream and some "usa" strain called something like Tagalongz
Oh yeah, before that I got Red Velvet from Terps2 for £22

After de Kade I walked up to de Baarsejes via the westerly end of Vondelpark. I took a sit down here for 20 mins and some documentary crew asked to interview me because I looked "interesting " lol I've rocked some truly interesting looks over the years but this near 50 year old iteration is anything but! Bless I had to decline anyway but wished them luck

Up to Ruthless - Real Maroc €12
Massawa - gorilla glue hash €10worth

Then up the Nassaukade to Chaoiteau - phantom Cookies and Cereal Milk then back to Catch 33 for Studio 54 and a hot chocolate due to being caught in the rain

How is the hash from Massawa? Had the best traditional Moroccan I've ever tried from here in 2015-ish.
Next trip: Halloween 2025
