As possession of 3g and owning one female plant is legal in Belgium, Dutch style coffeshops are not. However a non-profit making club, which grows a plant on behalf of the member, has won two court cases and currently able to continue in a legal grey area-

I assume you buy your share of the crop or swap your allowance with a different plant (bit like beer making clubs).

Well Dutch coffeeshops started in much the same way to cater to local people. My mates grandad used to grow a few plants for his local in rotterdam to supplement his pension.

I am glad to see this Belgian response to the wiet pass. It is good to see that some people are still thinking progressively. As the affected Nederlands provinces see increased criminal activity (street dealing) from implementing the restrictions and a loss of tax revenue from the coffeeshops and surrounding businesses, perhaps they will rethink the decision? Wishful thinking...
