Ganjaman and mad-dogs adventures in Amsterdam

Post by Ganjaman70 »

Well the time is now here to enjoy what can only be described as a birthday trip to remember :)

All packed and raring to go with my sidekick for the trip, an Amsterdam Virgin  but certainly not when it comes to weed  the one and only mad dog 8)

I'll most likely do a live trip report but we know how it is at times and things don't often turn out how you want but ill try :)

Now let the holiday commence and roll myself a fat one

It's really the first chance to give a little update but arrived on time and been to dampkrin a couple of times

Purchases there were..

Casey jones
Cheese fruit
Holy grail
Waterworks hash 40
Amnesia salad bowl
Pineapple haze
Laughing Buddha
Temple hash

Across the road to Popeyes an got
5g white widow
Mango haze

Went along to an old haunt rookies and just bought some amnesia haze which tbh was shite, also went along to 420 and bought some lemon space cake which isn't to bad and I'm still feeling some affects now lol :)

With it being my birthday I've decided to make it a trip to remember so I'm going to break myself in tonight with some philocype Atlantis "forbidden fruit" and build up for some "high hawian" lol fuck aye it's grand

Things hoping still do is get over to the Amsterdam Arena for a tour of the stadium, with the mad dog liking his lager a trip around Heineken is on the agenda.

Got plenty photos an I'll get those added when I'm sorted another time..

Had the 420 cake last week, only cake in Ams that got me buzzed. Nice taste too! Also tried the Dragon's Dynamite, never tried High Hawaiians but they're on my list for the next trip!

Too bad about Rookies. Had some nice NL there back in early June.

You right about the space cake being tasty, I remember have one years ago from rokery and it was like lead!
Regarding the truffles, lol what a trip they gave and it's like having two switches.... Adult and child and it's mental shit because you don't know which one to turn on but a good experience

Did you do the Amsterdam Arena tour in the end?. I recall the last time me and a mate went on that tour a number of years ago one afternoon. We was off our heads after several hojrs of hard smoking. Walked round the entire stadium twice over trying to find the entrance lol. Was a great tour and feels better doing it after smoking in the morning.

where the time has gone I'll never know.. After the night of truffles and having big plans to go around the arena the following day were just that... Big plans and I'm afraid I or mad dog did nothing apart from trip out our boxes the following day, we went on a mission to find wax but had no luck, and after visiting various coffee shops we gave up and bought some more truffles for last night.
This time mad dog felt ill and didn't feel comfortable so had to lie down and after slagging him off I decided to go off myself and get into my own zone lol and sat watching fellow campers chill and watched things become hazed and warped and tbh because I kinda have an addicted personality I began to really like the truffles..

Anyway birthday day and I decided that there would be no more tripping because I tried the truffles and although I enjoyed them the trip itself was about weed so after having a wake and bake I decided to try a spot at canoeing so hired one from the campsite and went off out chilling the morning away at sea lol,

afterwards mad dog and I hired some bikes and cycled about getting lost but still endin up at central station where weedfest began....

Straight back to 420 for some lemon space cake which seemed better than the last lost, left there and went down to easy times and bought some more space cake and some King Kong weed which wasn't a bad smoke, left there and went on a wax hunt again and ended up at the original dampkrin and ended up speaking to the manager about the stuff and unfortunately it was a not sold there, after asking to take a photo of the menu he said he had something better for me and handed me the menu off the counter and said he'd like to give me it, and to say I was speechless was an understatement, my immediate thought was how many hands have been over the original menu, how many people have set eyes on it and it's mine for my birthday, and what was even nicer was he gave mad dog a menu too..
My special gift from the manager of the original dampkrin

Anyway leaving there we went down to the vondal park and had a few joints people watching and chillin out then headed back up towards central station where the urge took have another space cake, the only place I could think was voyages and although it's not my favourite place I ventured in, unfortunately they didn't sell them but the guy pointed me in the direction of green place so after cycling around for a bit I found it, I couldn't really remember much about the place after my last visit a few year ago but as good as the bud tender in voyages said them hey have me some space cake and allowed me to take more photos,

after getting the cake we decided to was back to zeeburg and got lost lol, maybe the space cake from Easytimes had kicked in but It only enhanced the adventures.

Tomorrow is the last day and I'm hoping to leave Amsterdam with a mind that it really isn't a bad place and there really are some great people in this city..

So far it's been a great trip and with so much space cake today I'm now starting to feel stuffed, but it's grand :D

Is Invite 704 actually Ganjaman70?

Fred can't give permission to post Sam's photos.
Better to go to Sam for permission, which is what I am doing

Thanks for posting the menu pics, been waiting for ages to see an updated Popeyes menu as I recall they did a few decent 5 gram buys on some of my classic favourates and glad they still do.

Are you Joking? that menu in popeyes looks massively over expensive! If i was getting 5 grams of weed; first i would be looking for the quality of weed, secondly i would look for value for money. So this would coffeeshop not be on the list! DAVE sort it out
