I voted for Cafe 420. Top notch place, great atmosphere, friendly staff, awesome Super Silver Haze, and good music too.

I also highly rate Amnesia and Homegrown Fantasy.

To me, Homegrown Fantasy is the most comy CS in A/dam. For all the reasons others have mentioned and I always like what ever is on their menu. Say Cheese!

I voted Dampkring. I love visiting the one in Handboogstraat. Nice interior,
serviceminded budtenders, great menu and good vibes.
To tell you the truth i havent been to all of the cs on the list
Seems like Grey Area is worth a visit after reading the positive reviews

I couldn't see Katsu either,so checked it out and scores at -
For 96 against 7,so thats plus 89...which would put it into 7th place...

I originally voted for Paradox,but since discovering Katsu,would now get my vote..

You’re right, Katsu didn’t get picked up. There’s probably a few others that didn’t too. I used a simple SQL query to extract the data based on text in the heading and options. Where these don’t follow the standard pattern they don’t get found. If I get time at some point I’ll try to standardise them and/or improve the query.

Im actaully surprised that theres been little said about central. This was the first shop i visited and have returned every time ive been back. Ok admitted u cant smoke inside. But when your in there u see locals coming in to buy there smoke. That speaks volumes in my book. And to be honest ive always had a 5 star experience in this shop, Great selection of weed ok pre weighed but if youve got scales like me u can test it and im sure youll find it bang on unlike grasshopper and rastababy

I recently visited Amsterdam for the first time and found that I preferred to buy and leave instead of sticking around. Unfortunately, I didn't get to check out The Grey Area but of all the shops I visited I found Barney's to simply have the most crystally buds. I just stopped going anywhere else after I made that discovery. The vibe and atmosphere of the shop is unimportant to me because I would rather just smoke and then go somewhere nice like a Belgian bar on the Spuistraat.

Why is grey area so popular? It is tiny. Looks like an uncomfortable place to smoke. The kind of place they want you to buy and just leave in fact. The menu whilst extensive is very expensive and the location not really prime.

Not much, lol.
Other than the ocasional, banging, bit of herb, the only appeal the Grey Area has for me is the Super cool, friendly folks who work there. They never seem to be in a bad mood. And regardless of how busy the shop is, they always seem more than happy to show you all thier selections, and tell ya the origins of each one.
Totaly agree about price though, I couldn't afford to buy all my herb from places like this.
