I'm really looking forward to trying this place in a few weeks as it's very close to our apartment. Any weed or hash strains that anyone can recommend trying from here?

Love this place.

I could recomend the Libanon, a mild, cerebral type high. A thicker taste than a Maroc, and perhaps not as sweet. But nice none the less.

They also stock afew different outdoor and foreign herbs. I quite liked this shwaggy looking African herb.

Somehow, I doubt you will like this type of herb though.

Hoping that this place will be my first stop next visit.

Will get that Libanon for certain, and a party bag of Ghanaian and Indonesian weed to get me started :D

Won't get any trinkets though

You're right, it doesn't look so good  honestly did it get you high? Looks very similar to what we call "reg weed" around here. Maybe because it's grown outdoors (shrug).

The hash looks nice though, I'll definitely check that out. Thank you, Twich. 8)

what a gem this place is!

we found this one totally by accident on a long rambling walk i was making to take photos of all different shops... i was on the way to rokerij 4.... and came accross this... and i am so glad i did.

as everyones said, its a bric-a-brac/antique jumble sale, and a coffeeshop. two tables, one old lady and a cat. wonderfull.

the menu was pretty good too, i has the power plant, which was excellent. viking bio was available also.

there is so much to browse through and look at inside, its like aladdins cave for knick-knacks. my missus bought a necklace there for 3 euros!

the music playing was 1940's dutch balads, on an old turntable, adding that uniqully interesting feel to the place.

truelly a brilliant place to have a coffee and a joint and a browse.

It is a gem isn't it?

Had a good chat with the owner who is apparently in a long-running red-tape battle to keep it open.

I bought a few g's of african weed there - very cheap @ €4/g - it was very nice, and she took an age de-stemming it for me - top marks to her for that.

Cat is very friendly - sat on my lap for a good hour!

The super thai there is very good - very very cheap and although it looks and smells poor the effects are an excellent relaxing mellow high with a good hard but not too hard stone thrown in for good measure.
The place itself is wonderful. Really enjoyed looking around the place.

Popped in here (ha! i'm not gonna try spell it!), usual wackyness but the menu had only two rather ordinary looking foreign offerings so we passed. Was looking for something unique, didn't seem to have anything unique on the menu that day....

Nice place and had a nice chat with the two ladies running it. Bought some Maroc hash for €10 (pic below)
which was quite fragrant tasting and after that, wandered the Jordaan to visit De Looier covered antiques market several blocks away.
Coffee was very nice too and cheap.
