ACD Page: Roots-Oase

First of all, this are 2 shops in one building. The Oase is on the first floor and the roots is in the basement. They have a really nice decor and the location is nice for Germans, since it`s directly behind the border (not even 200m).
Thats all the nice things, now the bad things:
The staff is fucked up, they dont give you any information about the weed. Last time we went there I asked the guy behind the bar if he could tell me how the "santa maria" tastes or if the "nlx" is better, since we had not smoked both until then. He said something like "you would do me and the people behind you a favour if you could hurry up".
The people sitting there are only fucked up germans (I know its stupid since I am one myself, but the people there are really morrons imo).
The security is impolite as hell and everything there is so German......
The weed is good, but way too expensive, they always have some haze and other good sorts and around 15 hash sorts, but the weed starts at 9€/gr.

Me and my girlfriend only go there because its near to us. I would only recommend this shop if you know exactly what you want, if you dont want polite staff, if you dont search for dutch culture and if you have too much money to spend.
The problem is, its the only shop in the city you can enter without being a member or get low-rated weed.

we visited around 10 shops near the border to germany, and only in Venlo the "Nobodys Place" and the "huzur33" have memberships. in the huzur you dont pay for it, but in Nobodys place you pay 15€, which you get back in weed after your 3rd visit.......sucks somehow

We just visited after some months of abstinence, because after our Amsterdam trip I got so used to the dutch weed, I dont want to smoke the German bullshit anymore

, sucks somehow, but thats reality.
They had some nice sorts, Orange Bud, Super Silver Haze.....we bought the silver haze, its better than German weed, but not even close to the quality of other dutch shops, tastes just like any other ordinary weed, the high is a good one.

The shop is always crowded, because Germans from all over my state visit this shop, since it`s very near.
Forgot to make some pictures again, hope I can make some next time.

visited the roots one week ago, because my girl and a friend of hers like the look of roots very much (its great to sit in this mine-looking shop). I didnt smoke any because I had to drive back and Venlo is a border where there are many controls so I didnt bother to take the risk just for a couple of joints to lose my driver-license

the weed was not even close to the weed we get from our private dutch dealer. they have 4 sorts, they all cost 9€ and they all look the same in my eyes, no difference.
The dealers this time were a lot friendler than last time, goes for the rest of the staff as well.
From this month on they have memberships as well, so there is no shop in Venlo left where you can buy weed without a membership.
My advice: go to Sittard and/or Geleen
