This mustve been him! Now that you mention it, he did look more morrocan than arabic! lol. But yeah, in your words, he was a total asswipe. If I hadn't have already been so baked, I probably wouldve stayed and argued. But I also didnt wanna become one of those pricks that go to amsterdam and start trouble. Its a peaceful place and should be kept that way. Just hard to keep your cool when your patience is challenged by such a dick.
You must keep your cool coz your fucking with dealers, if you think you can scare them then you are mistaken no matter what you think they are thinking, i would expect a quick call to the geezers around the corner and one could be in a bit of bother and maybe a trip to the hospital at least, no matter how big and buff you think you are they just dont give a fuck.
Stay calm and walk away if you have to be tbh barneys has been cock for a good 3 years now, it wont get better until its sold to someone who cares.

Stay safe and keep it shut and dont forget your I.D its essential no matter how old you look. 8)

Waqs In here when I woke up at 6 in the morning on the first day of a recent trip and went here at 8 in the morning, bought a gram of Vanilla Kush and coffees and chilled out for a couple of hours, nice vibe with a very friendly budtender who helped me settle in by serving me up coffees at my table though I never asked him to do that. same guy asked me how I was, how I liked the weed and generally was a great tender.

The Vanilla Kush was pretty good I reckon with a noticable hazey uplifting effect very different from the Voyagers cheese I was smoking the night before and seemed to have the effect later when I was walking around of making me more active and optimistic.

I liked the small TV screens they have here each one situated right at the side of the seating benches, they were showing Buster keaton silent movies while I was there and they kept me amused ( seats too high tho ) anyway not a bad shop with I found a nice relaxed vibe.

I went last October, for the well sought after Tangerine Dream - it was overated.

It was around 10am, it was packed, the black guy behind the bar made me wait about 20 minutes to get served, then asked for ID, I'm clearly not underage.
That was fine, he's got a job to do, I showed him, no problem.

He then started dancing, cracking awkward jokes and calling me guvnor, which was off putting.

I bought my over priced weed and left, I won't be going back.

Nice part of town though.

First stop was here today. Vaped some Blue Cheese. Not as good as what I have had in the past. But the Sweet Tooth I got from there was really nice indica stone. Plus these really fucking cool guys gave me some hash and ice-o-later. I don't even know what to do with Ice-o-later.

Was there on Thursday.
Had one gram of WIld Cherry Berry fpr 12 Euro and it was the worst weed of the trip.

Once I like Barney but now I thought Bulldog to be MC Donalds and Barneys is already Starbucks.

Really suprised to hear you guys bashing the red cherry berry. Last time I went it was really popular. My partner absolutly loved it, and I gotta say I found it fairly tasty. Was looking forward to a few grams on my next trip. Guess ill give it a miss if its gone bad.

Went here last week and managed to get the seat outside in the sun, one of the best locations for a coffeeshop right on the canal Reguliersgraght near Thorbeckplien. Good comfy shop and decent staff, we tried their Blue Cheese, good strong smoke with a heavy stoned effect, we would visit again. :D

Dropped in on route back to the apartment on the van woustraat. My wife wanted to smoke a little something. She hasnt smoked for a few years. When talking to the tender (dutch with shaved head) she explained what she wanted from a smoke effects wise etc He put her at ease by listening intentively and after finding out her past experiences with cannabis etc and recommended the laughing buddha. I dont think ive witnessed service like this before in any shop in amsterdam and also any other of the barney shops. As for the smoke i couldnt knock it. well cured nice balanced high. The Mrs enjoyed it as well so thumbs up for barneys. :D

If it's the same guy as you Cornish Pixie, I highly concur!! Out of all shops, he stood out the best - went out of his way from the moment we walked through the door, was really friendly, attentive yet never made you feel pressured. Exactly how I want to feel :)
