Re: Utopia
@Cisco and Kermit- all the art is indeed for sale.
The new pieces by Andros Bartos are prints, and thus are quite reasonably priced; 35-50 euros.
Recal One's paintings are more expensive, though a discount is offered to people wanting to by a whole set of three.
The shop is not really looking to make a fortune from selling art, but we are keen to promote local talent and will continue to look for nice things for the walls.

Hey nel z bub! Hope you are well. Looking forward to connecting in November and trying some of the new selections on the menu.
Shame about the near fire, but the shop looks top notch with all the finishes!
cheers

Turbo coffee, you say? Better and better.
Sorry I didn't make it last time, nel, when you had that vaporiser on loan — for whatever reason I was somewhere else in the earlier part of the day, when you said you'd be there. But I'm over again in a couple of weeks' time and it's on my Definite list, so hope to see you and try out some of the strains I've been hearing about.

Re: Utopia
A massive thank you to Nel and Inga who made me and my brother feel like guests instead of just customers. We sampled a lot of the products here and they were all superb, the Champagne Haze was the standout smoke of the trip, but for me and my brother the Grand Cru, for the price was very special. Can't say enough good things about this place, every time we went in there was always a nice spot to chill, the music was great and very varied, I think Dame Edna Everage was being blasted out at one point, but all of the 7 things we tried on the menu were all amazing, a true connoisseur's shop which ain't up its own bum. My new favourite CS.

Think I was in there last week. Do you remember nel? I may have come in and looked at the weed. said it was great then asked the way to the atm and never came back or came back and bought something and it was very good so I forgot perhaps!
Damn that trip was fun.
ps - I think I did come back and sat outside. What a great spot to sit and chill out. Now if I could only remember what I smoked.....

First time here last week. Went for Kush Berry, Kandy Kush, Cheese and Grand Cru. Good gear. Like the atmosphere and all tenders were kind and helpful. Will return.

i stayed as a guest here many times from 2004/2007,then after the danish couple who previously owned it sold it on,the cleanliness of the place took a rather large nosedive, resulting in my looking for alternative accomodation on subsequent trips.
also the weed sold previously was not of a good quality either
,but on recent trips in the last year or two,the coffeeshop has been refurbished to a pleasing standard,(as i always come in here for a tea & smoke, although i bring weed purchased elsewhere) and as i am to understand, has now been refurbished again!!! and the weed menu has been changed to a new supplier......i have now heard many GREAT things about utopia and the quality of their weed,so deffo will be popping in on thursday (coming over for gay pride yay)to sample a bit of the weed on offer, and to hopefully meet the nice new budtenders for a cuppa and to say hi!! and to peruse the art ,or maybe purchase some art,if my hubby will let me hehe
looking forward to meeting you all,and see you on thursday!!!

Re: Utopia
Hi Nel,
Great to see all is well with the new refurb and everyone rating the tasty produce. Will be over from 20-23 August, just wondering if you need anything brought over from Blighty (within reason of course), alright for tea? If not let me know whats your brand and be happy to bring some with me.
Take it easy and save some of the good stuff for me.....whole menu looks great yum.

Was in a few times over the weekend ,served by Ingi,Amanda and Nel,to me and all other punters i observed great service was given, good music and coffee too,i've not found a consistently more friendly shop in all my visits over the years, nice people

Kandy Kush-Smoke of the trip for me,could smoke this all day,13 euro, cracking taste and fx,bought it a few times, unusual for me
Isolator-Nel explained it was mid grade, still potent for me,used it to power pack my last coupla spliffs,20 euro
Kushberry-Nice too, preffered the Champagne and Kandy kush though,14.5 euro
Strawberry Sour D on the menu too, smelled good
No Honey Haze while i was there though
Top shop and great people,a must visit
