Got some Red Leb here a while ago. Not worth the money unfortunately. Quite nice to sit and watch the crazies outside on Warmoestraat.

I've only ever used Baba as a buy and run place as it's always rammed in there.

Have tried the cakes but like so many things in A'dam I was unsure of the strength due to high consumption before eating them.

Having said that, the last time I was there the White Widdow was the surprise of the trip. Superb smell and taste and a very nice high.

i stopped here last week the morning i was coming back to have a thai joint. if you get there early enough its qiuet and the staff were really friendly and cool. the female who works there is well fit!!! sexy husky voice and a real good laugh, i just wanted to stay just to carry on talking to her she made me laugh alot! will be going back there for sure...

Here's some more random video of the Red Light District, shot on the "morning after" a typical Friday night of fun and revelry. These scenes start out at what I consider to be the entrance to the Red Light District, on Warmoesstraat at Oudebrugsteeg and Lange Niezel.

Out on Warmoesstraat, just a few steps away from the Greenhouse Effect Bar & Hotel, you'll see the exterior of the world famous Baba coffeeshop at the corner of Oudebrugsteeg and Warmoesstraat. You'll also see various sex shops, bars and coffeeshops as the camera captures shots of morning cleaning crews on Warmoesstraat. Scenes from Oudebrugsteeg and Lange Niezel are also included.

From here I make my way deeper into the Red Light District over toward Oudezijds Achterburgwal, lingering awhile at Oudezijds Voorburgwal. Tourists enjoy the beautiful morning as they walk among the shops. Sceneic shots of the Liesdelsluis canal, bridges and Febo round out this brief look at the Red Light District.

Bought some nepal temple ball for 10,5E/g...it was really shit. At Baba every hash has the same taste,and it's wood taste!!! Did ever happen to you to taste kind of wood in some indian or nepal hash?

the budtender was a really really disgusting,nervous,annoying and very rude.the la was ok,but ill never go back this place as long as she works there.

Yeah, I really must try some of their weed next time, but was already adequately stocked up last visit.

At our first visit we ve only got there to buy some "bakery". the staff was friendly and gave good advice about the brownies and muffins. Took 2 brownies and one muffin to go and they were all really delicious and strong.

The second time i went there, i ordered a pure pre rolled white widow. i sat down and started too feel comfortable, while that pure joint was beginning to kick in. all of the sudden a staff member came to me and said i have to order a drink. i wasnt thirsty at all and refused because ive allready purchased a pre rolled a moment ago at this place. that obviously didnt count, so i had to leave even tho i really liked the interior a lot. besides of that theres to say that the baba was a really busy place which seemed more like a take away shop than a place to stay and relax.

id still recommend their brownies and muffins. the pure white widow was also really good.

We visited Baba by chance, last night in Dam. Then, we went back there the next morning, before going to the Schiphol Airport... It proved to be the most comfortable and clean coffeeshop of our long and intensive centrum-tour, with good selection of space cake, drinks and music. We bought some pollen and skunk, both a € 8 per gram, all other entries were overpriced. I think also not exacly high quality...

Skunk was nothing of exceptional but, beyond expectations, Pollen was very good, quite strong and very fragrant!

No doubt BABA is a good place to visit during fist visit to Amsterdam, especially to chill and restore yourself if it's very cold outside and your bags are already full of good stuff...

Tried some amnesia here at the wknd, it was really strong but it wasnt cured right, really harsh on the throat.

only good thing of this place imo is they do some nice freshly squeezed orange juice, music is too loud and weed is poor. bartenders running through tables always asking to buy more drinks, also when you have one half full telling you you have to order more. not my place
