This seems to be a remarkably popular coffeeshop so I'm hoping that some reviews will appear here.

Only heard more or less bad things about this shop. When it comes to names for strains and hashish I certainly disagree as personally would prefer this depending on quality in opposite to stupid new names for every batch. It's a phoney unregulated name game anyway without any guarantee so fuck that(it's only marketing bullshit for more profit and selling lower grades). However, I read on here Marok21 mentioned this place every now and then so am sure he will take care of that and shed some light on this shop !

Yeah I was there a few times so I try to make a short review.

The Shop is located in the "no-mans-land" of Kerkrade. Most Shops are located in the Centrum of a City or at least in a city but that shop is a little bit out of the way. It is near the zoo of Kerkrade (http://www.gaiazoo.nl/en/) and opposite to the slaughterhouse of Kerkrade.

Customers there are mostly germans, belgish but also several dutch guys. They make a lot of money since Maastricht is closed for tourists... sometimes the queue goes out of the shop
They have a lot of parking space... a security guy check id cards in front of the shop. All the staff speak german and it looks to me that they are pretty specialised to germans They have a lot of games like card games and table games to play. They also have a outdoor area where it is possible to smoke outside wich is pretty unique in Limburg. In the past they had a also a pool table but after a renovation it disappears. They also offer some dutch food like "Frikandel" and other "lekker" things

But the problem here is the quality of the gear as in the most coffeeshops in Limburg... they sell some pretty good weed to me in the past like Super Amnesia (14€/g) wich was the strongest Amnesia I smoked in ages... also a strain they called Acapulco Haze (14€/g) was pretty good but they also have really bad weed (bewerkte wiet) wich smells like plastic when burned at first I thought only the 14€/g strains are maybe really good there but another time I got some "bewerkte" Super Amnesia .
So it is a little bit like gamble if you go there they also don´t let you look on the weed before buying (if it´s busy there) or show it angry to you.

But there are also "many" locals who come there... maybe they sell better stuff to them...

Yes I agree with that. There are so many people wich only looking at the names... they think when a hash for example is named "King Hassan"... it would be in every coffeeshop the same It´s only a name not a strain

Reading all the comments..you know what if you don't have a weed pass and are in the area this place is spot on...I lived in masstricht 15 years and yes there are much better places...but now I'm not a resident and struggle to score, the weed is ok (without doubt better compared to even decent weed in the uk through normal channels)...no weed pass this is your place

Heard some good things about their quality of the hash atm so I visited them a few days ago to see if it´s true.

Maroc (12€/g) - Pretty creamy darker sticky hash. Melts pretty fast in the pocket... Probably made of foreign genetics... more of a weed like smell than a trad. imported hash. Smells and burns well. No signs that it had been cut. More a new school hash. Liked it

Maroc (13€/g) - A blonde moroccan hash. Not as sticky and creamy as the maroc for 12€/g but it had a nicer smell to me. Probably made of foreign genetics but smokes and smells more like a classic imported hash. Smell was indeed pretty good and "lekker"... liked it, too.

Maroc (10€/g) - Also more a blonde hash and probably made of foreign genetics. Looked pretty good for the price...fresh and oily... really not bad.

Overall I wasn´t dissapointed. All good quality hashes especially for south Limburg and all seemed to be pretty clean.

But I smoked only hashes so I didn´t know how the weed quality is there atm... I spoted that "Heavens Haze" (14€/g) and "Surprise Haze" (15€/g) were new on the menu.

Every batch a surprise, right ? That's what I call honesty then coffeeshopwise. At least their hashish is on the rise it seems but for how long?

Yeah I think so and that is the same with the whole shop... I mean it is gamble if you go there. Sometimes good but it can be also really bad quality Usually I don´t go there so often but I heard good things about their hash quality atm so I tried it. Well a friend of mine was there today to get some of the hashes I had... two of them looked completely different (Maroc 13€/g and 10€/g) and not as good as before but the one for 12€ looks pretty like the same.

Since it´s not possible for tourists to enter a coffeeshop in Maastricht they make a lot of money... I would say they are one of the coffeeshops with the most customers in the whole netherlands.
