Day 5 in Amsterdam 4-22-2024

Another day to sleep in, yeah right. I'm up by 7:00, shower and downstairs to get a large latte & a slice of banana nut bread

from the coffeeshop on the corner. I meet up with Ghost a couple of hours later to find a proper breakfast. We wander around looking for a decent place to eat. We eventually settle on Greenhouse Cookies/Strain hunters. A good English breakfast for me and Ghost had a toastie. We hang out, have a few bongs hits, then we meet a few ACD'ers that were going with us to De Kade.

Short metro, short walk, and we hook up with DocG. We spend a few hours in the back, basically by ourselves. We told a nice lady about ACD, and she comes back with t-shirts for everyone. Everyone enjoying themselves, with Lemming passing out Volcano's, left and right. Good times!!

We head out into the cold, pass a few coffeeshops before stopping at Yo Yo's. Nice shop, nice old lady running the place. Unfortunately, a little too small for all of us. We stay a while then head back to the Dam. I called it an evening, grabbed some Burger Bar for take out and chilled in the apartment for the evening.

As a long-time ACD lurker and big fan of your horticultural expertise, I have been hoping to meet you for many years. As you know, as a newbie to the ACD annual festivities, I searched the ACD photo archives to familiarized with images of Lem, Trad, Ghost & Gapie etc - and of course yourself. I was looking for the Hairy one - the Arizona Rock Star & you fooled me. It was always a wig!

And in a sense, you were right. I grew it all those years, to cut it and give it to the "Locks of Love" to make "wigs" for folks that have cancer and lose their hair. Did it 3 times of growing & cutting, before the style you see now.
