Funny People Too
I was in Amsterdam in Feb 17,and stayed at the Botel (12-15 min free ferry from the back of Centraal)
Funny People Too was the nearest coffeeshop to this location. Coming from the ferry you aim left towards the big graff art pic of a face on the tall building. Once at that junction turn right and follow the road up towards the main intersection, turn right. You now follow the rd through small industrial units/shops for about 7-8 mins and it's on the left.
It definitely feels a bit out the way and I actually said to my friend we will carry on walking to that light and if we haven't found it we will turn back. Well the weed god's must have been listening because that light turned out to be the place.
The words Fucking Get In hopefully drifted up to the gods and they are aware of how appreciative I was.
You enter the shop and there's a small foyer with the door to the main shop on the left and the bud counter to the right. Couple of locals before me in the queue and they ordered. A few people ordered the enemy of the state , so I had a gram of that an a gram of cream. Bud tenders were 2 really nice and helpful guys.
I was then buzzed into the main room, 3 to 4 tables on left if i remember and a large bar on the right (bud counter far right ) Nothing spectacular decoration wise but not terrible either ,I've skinned up in a lot worse places
Made a cream joint as I've not had decent resin in the UK for ages and then went into a small enclosed smoking area with bench type seats around the edge ( no smoking anywhere but here ) TV on showing something
3 to 4 local inside approx. age 22-26 ish. The cream was nice it smelt like good resin and tasted mighty fine as well , I was stoned at the end of it and that was the plan .Tried the enemy a bit later , nothing special but not shite either.Couple more locals came in , they were a couple and aged about 40 odd and pleasant to chat too, they confirmed this is a very local place and most just buy n fly. I did notice about 10-15 ppl buy n fly in the 35 mins i was there. I asked the budtenders if i could take a picture of the menu and they were proper helpful and really sound blokes. You cant see the price on the pic but the silver haze was 10/1g as well.
All in all it was a decent place to skin up and have a quick spliff , prices were ok and it was nice to chill with the locals, the weed was not so special but it was decent quality and the resin was nice.
